I used to think I'd like a sub who does domestic duties, but then one day I realized I too love cooking and cleaning. I realized that, if I let him do that for me, I'd be missing out on the fun. lol So he does other things for me instead of domestic duties.

I hate cleaning but it has to be done so I do it. You can always come over to my place and do a little cleaning, cooking, ironing. etc...really, I'm sure Master wouldn't mind.

It's just a matter of picking which things you want to do and which you want to delegate. There was a time in our dynamic that clip did the cooking. I've since changed that and now do 95% of the cooking. In My middle age, I've become a controlling person about My kitchen, the food budget, and meal planning.

Am I complaining that I'm not doing the catboxes, cleaning the oven, or having toilet brush duty? Nope. Not a bit.

I guess I could suffer through not cleaning the shower or sifting the cat box. Ditto for dusting. Other than that, I love to clean. lol

OP, I can say I definitely feel some of the same things you describe about doing housework.

It definitely brightens my day to take care of the housework and see the appreciation my Master has for it. While I'm doing housework, scrubbing away and tidying up, I get so happy and excited thinking about getting the work done and having him be pleased with it. I do think it's intimate in a way, taking care of his (our) home. And it's definitely something that fills me with affection, thinking of him and putting a smile on his face.

Plus, I get a nice a feeling of accomplishment when I've finished cleaning/organizing and everything's all shiny and neat. Completing some good hard work always leaves me satisfied. :)

I like and get satisfaction from housework.
I love cooking, doing the laundry and
cleaning. I like scrubbing things so much
I suspect there's a endorphin release
going on. But I hate the litter box.

I have a neighbor who is a bona fide
cat lady. She has two houses full of
cats. She has in her employ a man
whose sole job is to empty, clean and
refill the litter boxes. I dream of
seducing him away from her.

I generally enjoy cleaning as well. I enjoy having it tidy and in order. I like doing things that makes His life easier.

My house currently is a crazy mess from visitors/wedding preparation/no routine for the past 2 weeks. It's making me positively twitchy. I'm spending today cleaning it and should feel much better once it's done.

Wellllllll I HATE cleaning house. But I've been doing a bit of it today. Because I also hate a dirty messy house.

I hate cleaning; I have a cleaning woman.

I get emails from submissive men who want to clean, cook and do my hair.

Sighs. I wish I was a Domme sometimes.

I dont like cleaning, but I do like having a clean house, so it is sort of a catch 22. Fox is way too busy with school to keep up with things around here most of the time so I do it. I entertained the idea of getting a domestic sub to help out, but what they wanted in return was always way more than I was willing to give.

Ya. I certainly cannot afford to pay a cleaning person and yanno, even if I could, I just have a weird 'thing' about allowing people I do not know really REALLY well, into my home. Especially in that capacity.

I guess it's a god damned good thing this house is less that 2,000 square feet.

Right now I am trying to convince myself to clean out the fridge. It's about as empty as it ever gets, perfect time, but it's also one of my least favourite things to do....EVER.

I have a cleaning lady twice a month it's a splurge but well worth it and she agrees to using only my products, which are all declared cruelty free from the "leaping bunny" site. Much like all of my cosmetics, which I know was somehow thought to go against my principles (that I wear cosmetics and am vegan). It is super easy to find cleaning products and cosmetics that don't test on or use animals products. So anyway yes, I enjoy cleaning but I work about 55 hours a week, so the twice monthly expense is worth it, and in between, I clean myself.

I despise clutter and a mess. I have a companion animal family of 11 to 12 at any given time so it has to stay cleaned on a daily basis believe me.

Nothing sucks worse than doing a double shift and coming home to a mess.

Oh and if anyone else lives with animals and wants to make sure your cleaning products are safe, here is the link to the site.

Oh I sooooooooooo understand you  I used to tell my ex that, as he is extremely clean and tidy...he will be happy to be able to do more of it if we would be living together....he somehow saw it differently and meant "no...you can learn to become more tidy  If we would have ever moved together it would have been freaking hard to adjust to his level of tidyness...some hospitals could learn from him, seriously...

Thanks Aynne!

When my (now ex) husband and I both worked full time and went to school part time, we had someone come in twice a month. I'm wondering if it was a coincidence that she quit after we forgot to put sex toys away, lol.

I am a yoga teacher and have advertised on craigslist offering yoga in exchange for cleaning services. I'm allergic to dust and if I don't stay on top of it need someone else to do it or prepare to be sick for a few hours.

Oh, we have a cleaning lady come in twice a month also. I think we will keep it for now, mainly because 3 floors of FLOOR is enough to drive me crazy. There are only 2 spots I hate cleaning: the floor & bathroom.
