Am I the only one concerned that we have the potential to have a President and Vice President who puts their religion above the country?

No

And women intend to keep it that way.

So does the federal govt. Regardless of who gets in.

Now...stop voting based on assumptions and start listening to the speakers....more importantly, their records of actual achievement.

If that tells you to vote for Obama....do so....if that tells you to vote for Romney....do so.

That sounded just like a "there there dear, you must be on the rag " platitude. There are tooo many bills passed for it to be a simple assumption, maybe when the bills are produced for those top three ..people should start worrying.

Will people stop worrying about what communism, Obama is going to bring, .........Tell them to Stop voting based on assumptions
Will people stop worrying about what gun laws, Obama is going to bring, ...............Tell them to Stop voting based on assumptions.
Will people stop worrying about Obama bringing Sharia law into the country, ............Tell them to Stop voting based on assumptions.
Then talk about assumptions

And so, you just did exactly what I said....voted on my post based on the words you heard...not in fact what I believe or have done.

If that's effective for you...keep doing it.

How does that work, exactly, Tazzy? Romney is a Mormon, Ryan a Catholic. Is there some secret Salt Lake/Vatican connection I've missed by not getting near the kook threads?

And, if you really want to go there, given the doctrines of the church where President Obama spent 20 years, couldn't we say that he has placed his religion above the country?

Can you show me where Obama put his religion, publicly, before the country?

No more than he can that Kennedy did, Bush did or Romney will.

Because there are other people who make the laws.

If "the base" wasn`t giving up......why are they so "McCain-crazy" and desparate?

Like with the killing of Ambassdor Stevens........saying and doing wild, out of control things......

Huntsman would have been a good one but he wasn't batshit crazy enough for the rulers of the GOP.

Well, I think the other Hunty would have been a good nominee and much more likely to win but, as I said, he wasnt either batshit crazy, a Bible Beater or a flip flopper so the GOP rulers didn't see much use for him.

I actually haven't said anything at all about Roe v Wade (and I'm not at all clear on why you suggest that I did...however, I'm also not at all clear why you suggest I said anything at all you continually suggest I've said)....interestingly, the woman who (was coerced in bringing that case by the feds) has now claimed she wished she was never involved....because, federal law already covers (and covered) that very issue. (Quite well).

As to any Federal/Supreme Court Judges....(which I presume you refer to...even though you didn't specify it with absolute clarity)...they were placed by varying Presidents, each of which have had the opportunity to place same....more of which have been placed by both Obama and Clinton than any other President.

Really?
I would have thought better of you Firm, guess I would have been wrong,eh?
All that is necessary to secure your vote for President of this great nation is that someone not be Obama .
You should be,and anyone else who thinks like this, ashamed of yourself

Wow! Straw man and guilt trip, all rolled up into one, mike! Good one!

...

If it was Ghangis Kan v Obama, I'd vote for Obama.

If it were Stalin v Obama, I'd vote for Obama.

If it were Pol Pot v Obama, I'd vote for Obama.

But ... absent some fantasy evil figure, any reasonably competent individual is a better choice than Obama.

Any.

What's the matter sweet pea.....don't you want to jump right in and counter (anything) I say with some blather about how I didn't cover some miniscule aspect of some ridiculous and minute B.S. that you feel a need to presume I didn't or did say?

But if I did (say it)....it certainly must have missed the key points of whatever crap you felt was pertinent to some ongoing nonsense which had no basis in any functioning reality based on planet Earth?

Certainly you have some comment to make as to where I've missed the mark?
