No concern. You seem to insist you know me so well... when you dont because you dont read, you assume.
You want to know about my tax beliefs? go hunting. But never assume you know what you are talking about. Your track record with me is very very bad.

My track record?!? I'm supposed to care that your political beliefs and my political beliefs clash? I do not worry at all that one day I'll pass you on the sidewalk and you'll turn and gut me. And, even if you did, I highly doubt that I'll care afterwards, either. What's really interesting is if we were to play 6-degrees of separation, we'd be an awful lot closer than you'd probably imagine.

I will not go hunting for your beliefs, tazzy. If I'm wrong, prove it. You probably support that line of thinking in other areas, too.

tazzygirl -> RE: Romney.... product of welfare state (9/20/2012 8:29:44 PM)

Nope.. just showing you how stupid your claim is... and Romneys.

People pay in. They pay in extra with the hopes of getting back a bigger refund. And here you are whining about it, when, in most cases, that money is spent as soon as it comes, thereby pushing it back into the economy instead of sitting in someone's bank account.

But you go ahead and whine about how people arent paying "their fare share". We all know you are twisting this for your own purposes.

I just find it laughable.

You are really rather 'lacking' when it comes to remembering things. We even had this discussion on another thread.

Just this month. Or did you forget that you even participated in, and even addressed, the form of tax I believe in?

You should be extremely tired of me proving you wrong time after time.

So, you are going to tax those who make more than some amount a flat rate. What rate would that be, and what income cutoff would there be? Does this mean you are going to raise taxes on the Middle Class?!? I know I participated in that thread (and, do forgive me for not remembering at the stroke of a key every post I've made in every thread I've participated... I have more important things in my life than to keep track of that stuff... breadcrumbs that you can do that, sincerely).

seekingOwnertoo -> RE: Romney.... product of welfare state (9/20/2012 8:45:58 PM)

Oh ...

And Mitt's Daddy used to carry Michigan with 60 - 66 percent of the vote.

When Obama beats Mitt in Michigan ... what message is being sent to the rest of you????

Dont blame me because you cant remember stuff.. and then shove your foot into your mouth.

Raise taxes on the middle class? When they pay more than the 15% Romney did? Do you not get the concept of a flat tax?

As far as how low, poverty level works for me. Below that, no taxes. Surely even you cannot disagree with that.

That the people of Michigan are a bunch of ignorant fools backing the wrong party.

I wasn't blaming you for not being able to recall every post I write and every conversation I have. I admitted I don't do that, and don't care to do that. I, then, gave you props for being able to that. At no time did I blame you or anyone else for my keeping tabs on older posts. And, I still haven't shoved my foot in my mouth. (You have a thing for feet?)

How do you define the Middle Class, tazzy? What rate are you looking to set for your flat rate? I absolutely understand the concept of a flat tax. Am I to also believe that you'd cut out *all* credits and deductions, or are you going to use the AGI compared to the poverty level? What of the mortgage interest deduction? And, you do realize that a flat tax hits lower income earners harder than upper income earners, right?

mnottertail -> RE: Romney.... product of welfare state (9/21/2012 6:44:44 AM)

Two things we know to be true.  Romney is a lazy victim mentality asshole who is a mega welfare patient, bellying up to the trough to eat his dead dog daily.   Romney is against the flat tax, and flat tax really doesnt have anything to do with this topic.

tazzygirl -> RE: Romney.... product of welfare state (9/21/2012 9:39:01 AM)

I agree with Ron... start a thread.

Actually, it was Obama that ate dog meat. [8D]

Not my place to do so. Mine is just to point out the hypocrisy of your position.

Which was?

Ooops... missed part of my OP.
Why is he denigrating 47% of the US when his own grandfather used that very system Romney is complaining about?

Is Romney calling for an end to *all* entitlements? Is he going to remove all Federal assistance from the services offered by the Federal government?

I do feel very strongly that he wants the chance...except those for corp. America. [sic]

I would support him in obliterating the Corporate Welfare, as well as streamlining and purging the waste from Social Welfare. And, by "waste,"I'm not talking about those who have no choice; only those who choose to do what they can to get on or stay on social welfare when they are capable of working and not being on it.
