You said that Trayvon Martin attacked Zimmerman, right? And that Zimmerman had to kill him in self-defense, right? So, why did Trayvon Martin attack Zimmerman, if not to defend himself from Zimmerman's unlawful attempt to detain him at gunpoint?

Who knows what was running through Trayvon's head to cause him to attack George? What runs through the mind of anyone who attacks someone for no apparent reason? (It happens a lot).

Why did two teenagers kill their great grandmother unprovoked with a hatchet in Wisconsin? Why did a 13 year old in NYC brag to his friend "Watch what I'm going to do to this guy" before punching a 24 year old in the face and chasing him leading to the 24 year old's death? There's no reason to assume they were defending themselves any more than there is reason to assume Trayvon was when he broke Zimmerman's nose, knocked him down, straddled him and continued beating him.

But that can't be correct, can it?

She stated that Martin told here that he had lost Zimmerman. When she told him to get home he told her he wasn't going to run anymore soon after this the confrontation began. Both Martin and Zimmerman said that Martin had lost him. Them meeting after this was either accidental with Martin moving away from his home and Zimmerman moving toward his truck. Or Martin doubled back to confront him.

not going to run anymore is not proof of a double back, a single back or any sort of intent to confront. If it is, then Zimmerman is a cut and dried murderer based on the same logic.

With Zimmerman having lost him and heading back to his truck they can't meet unless Martin doubles back.
