Status: offline 		Hello everyone...I have a question about how to collar my male sub. I want to collar him but I am having a hard time finding a collar/necklace that is not so obvious because he does work with the public. I am looking for more of a necklace that has a symbol of submissiveness or slavery that only people in the lifestyle would recognize. Can anyone here help me find something that will work?

Status: offline 		You may want to consider a bracelet or something that easily passes for daily wear depending upon his profession. If he has a high profile or sensitive job it can be damaging for someone to recognize a symbol and out him. You say who would recognize the BDSM emblem or symbols that isn't in the community? My sister and her boyfriend, several of my good but vanilla friends and at least one local reporter who did a piece on BDSM a few years back. You are better off to choose a piece that means something to the two of you. Maybe a ring engraved with property of Ms. Jenny. The real collar is invisible, around the both of your hearts. When you're at a BDSM event, he'll be wearing his formal collar, so you need not worry people will not realize he is yours.

Basically a heavy cord with an ornament on it. You could possibly make / modify one of these to be more collar-like.

How about a set of dog tags the date of Collaring on it.. and or the kanja symbol for slave .. and or his slave name.. and or your name etc..etc..etc..


silver tags are easy to find and lots of people wear them

Status: offline 		My collar is made of a flexible metal mesh that is covered with metal slides that have an oval cut out of them so that the mesh shows through, like a little picture frame. What I wear everyday is a gold chain with an oval pendant that matches the slide from the collar. Perhaps you could have a ring made that would match some piece of the collar.

Status: offline 		I bought one from Dreamstrike.com. It's a plain round, steel collar that fastens with a key. (Those that look like L's?) Can't think of the name. Anyway, I thought it would be nice and discreet. Looks like a new age necklace.

Status: offline 		My previous slave wore a "halter ring" collar that actually laid rather low on his neck and could easily but under a shirt without being obvious. Outside of his shirt, it was rather obviously a collar, but when it wasn't necessary, no one could see it.

I have embedded a picture. Brenda from LeatherCellar created the one he wore. I got his a bit larger than the one shown and it slid readily under a workshirt or dress shirt when necessary. A locking buckle on the back also went well under the shirt. The only issue that might be a giveaway is that he had two experiences where he was running at the office and his lock "jingled" a bit. No one else notice, but he did. This piece also looks fantastic as a dress "tie" when in lifestyle company, with a silk dress shirt. I find that of value as well.

Status: offline 		my owner could never figure out a way to collar me in a permanent way, either. as much as we liked having me wear a collar or chain, it just never worked with open necked shirts. i guess if i wore a tie everyday it would be different. alas.

anyway, the compromise solution was a waist chain that rode just above my hips. it was fixed permanently and all clothes fit over it. it also could be used to attach my wrists to without being so obvious.

The collar that I am concerned with is the collar a slave wears around her heart. Any other collar (to me) is simply window dressing.

Why not have a "day collar"? A ring works nicely. An ordinary gold band wouldn't be noticed or add some decoration if you want to make sure it's not taken for a wedding band. I enjoyed getting creative with day collars when I had an online male sub. Sometimes he wore ribbons or elastics around his cock and other times he drew symbols on various parts of his body. Dragons were my favourite.

Status: offline 		I make quite an assortment of classy collars in Silver, Gold, and Platinum. I have found that for males, a chain type collar with a special locking mechanism works best and is most descrite. My screw-down chain collars fit this bill nicely. Here is the basic Idea. While the clasp will remain the same, many different chain styles are available. Or, there is even the option of having the clasp added to your favorite current chain. YOu would just have to send me the chain so I can install the clasp. These clasps are all hand-made by myself.
