what exactly is an enema. how do dommes use it on their subs. what is their purpose and are they meant to hurt.

An enema is a bag of water...or some other substance inserted into your bowels usually for the purpose of cleaning you out. Usually for some sort of anal play. Well, they also have healing enemas. Although I somehow doubt most Fem Doms do it to heal you.

People use all different sorts of substances. Coffee, alcohol. Although alcohol can be deadly. Enemas are a popular fetish as well. Those people are called enemamates.

i, personally do not find an enema in any way demeaning or humiliating. Yes, it can be used in a bondage scene wherein the submissive is forced to retain the enema within its bowels until the Master allows it to void. However, my Master demands that i clean myself out at least weekly using a minimum of 3 gallons of water, 1 gallon at a time. This equates to two standard water bottles tied to one hose that enters the ass. Over time i have found that i actually crave them. In fact, i found this out at the tender age of 10 and now practice it as a religeon to make sure that my love tunnel is clean for him to do what ever pleases Him to and including fisting, if that is His desire. Also i must clean out prior to being loaned out to other Masters for thier use while in the area and must include my double enema in the toy bag i take with me.

i have never done this, but i think pepole do it for different reasons. Like all anal play it can hurt, it definitly can, but mostly it is for healing purposes.

Many nature terapists use this to for healing purposes like Gloria said, it can be werry clensing.

I love enemas. I usually have to give myself one, or have my master give me one and then leave before I have o use the bathroom. However, I am talking to one master who loves to be present at all times giving them. It seems like it will be a big turn on having him present. I can not have to worry about doing something to myself and stay in his control. Plus, the small humiliation part of it is thrilling to me as long as he doesn't take it too far...

But, I have to have them before taking anything in my ass. I get worried I may not be clean for my Dom or top. It also seems to cut back and elimate any adverse effects of gettng fucked... Like gas build ups and such.

One big thing about enemas is you have to remind your Dom or make sure yourself that there is no air getting in, and that the water is room temperature. If these guidelines aren't followed, it can lead to cramping.

I've heard (but do the research yourself to make sure) that you can over use enemas. There is naturally occuring bacteria which is the body's last digestive defense. If you flush out everything inside your body isn't functioning the way it is meant to.

I do believe you are right. That is also why lube at all times during anal sex is important.

If I was in a 24/7 relationship and anal sex was a nessessity, I imagine every other night one just have to be carefull about being clean. At least when fisting, and other anal activities, I still see enemas as a must.

Anyone else have input concerning enemas and keeping a daily routine of anal sex?

i love enema as part of my session.
Here is a recent senerio

Mistress has me make a wine enema and then hang it on a IV stand. i am then paraded out in front other mistress while she open and closes the valve and slipper slaps my ass. I just wanted to point out that alcohol and caffeine enemas can be very dangerous. The alcohol and caffeine go right into your system and it's hard to gauge how much you're getting. I would not advise doing what mikedelphi does.

I saw something involving an alcohol enema elsewhere but can't seem to find it so I googled for it and came up with: Tammy Jean Warner was charged in February with negligent homicide in the 2004 death of her husband, Michael, who suffered acute alcohol poisoning (0.47 blood- alcohol level) caused by having ingested three liters of sherry wine, allegedly provided by Tammy via enema. The Lake Jackson, Texas, widow told reporters that she was only trying to help Michael (who she said had been addicted to enemas since childhood) and that he also did enemas with coffee, "castile soap, Ivory soap. He had enema recipes. I'm sure that's the way he wanted to go out (die) because he loved his enemas."

Enemas can be quite erotic when done properly, and can be both pleasureable and uncofortable at times. When done properly it's quite lovely. A soap suds enema with a bag made for that (holds 1-2L of fluid); Lay on left side insert fluid, try and hold as long as possible (no more than 30mins, as I think cramps would be harsh), than excrete.

Does enima;s give you direah, a lot of people say they do. And if they do give you diareah is it diffrent kind of dirah than say upset tummy from food reah.

If it does give you the shits I don't think I'd be interested, Having the runs is not something I want to induce.

I insist upon them for any kind of anal examination or play-- the first time-- they do it after that, I administer them, its part of control--I work it into play time and My subs look forward to that as it is the beginning--there are many kinds, coffee, wine is very safe--and yes you can do them too much, but it is also very healthy to "purge" on occasion
