- A brand
- A tattoo
- A metal circlet secured with a lock
- A nametag

Doms can be identified by the way we smirk when we see a sub's markings.

Simple answer: You can't.

Complicated answer: Sometimes submissives have little indications... there are some collars, for instance, that are pretty recognizable, and sometimes a well-placed BDSM symbol can tip you off that they're into kink, albeit not necessarily which role(s) they prefer.

I don't try to identify subs on the street. Unless I like the person as a human being first, what they're into is a non-issue. I'm open enough about my kinks that the people who I like in vanilla contexts and also might be BDSM-compatible with me tend to find me pretty quickly (although that method won't work nearly as well if you attempt to keep your kinks a little more separated from the rest of your life).

If you approached me as a submissive trying to find a dominant, you wouldn't have a chance. If you approached me as a human being who happened to be into submission, you would. Figure out the difference and I suspect you'll start having a little more luck.

Status: offline 		It takes a while to find a match for any relationship. The reality of it is, you are one of many, available male subs, so it may take you even longer. Have patience. Know what you want and do not settle, this makes it obvious you are not desperate. Noone wants to be the answer to your prayers of desperation, a partner, including a Dominant, wants to know that you find them to be a match for you - to be something special.

Work on yoursel to make yourself more desirable as a submissive. Get out to munches and meetups, get involved in local community. that is the best way to meet someone.

I'm not sure why this is an issue. If you were Owned you wouldn't be allowed to show off your markings and attract another Dom.

I've noticed someone on the street before with a semi-discreet collar-type thing w/ a teeny tiny lock on it around his neck. I've noticed a tell-tale bdsm-y tattoo before. That's not a for sure thing though, you really can't know for sure without asking, I suppose.

Yes, we've had a lot of old threads where people are trying to identify traits and such that mean someone is one thing or the other. Hell, Kevin convinced of the notion that any woman with boots on was Dominant.

OP, it's not a drive through. People can't order up their fantasy fulfillment, they actually have to put in some work to find it and then be discerning enough so that they choose quality. What you're doing is seeking to stereotype and that's never attractive. Somewhere, someone will not fit a certain box because we are all human beings and don't act exactly alike.

Now settle down and do this the way you always do in how to meet people. Put your dick away for now, no one cares about it or what you want for it till they get to know you.

Sigh. Didn't they explain this to you when you joined the subs/slaves union?

In your union packet (which should have been distributed at the union meeting), there should have been a sub/slave tracking device. It resembles a butt plug, but it has an antenna sticking out of it. It is supposed to be inserted deep up your rectum. It will then give off a distinct signal that can be picked up by any Doms/Dommes in the area who have their "sub finder" devices turned on.

You newbies never pay attention during orientation meetings.

Personally (and this may not work for everyone), I wear a sign (an "A" board) when I'm walking around casually "I'm a sub....are you a Domme?" and....a lot of (similar) bumper stickers.

I try to wear Dockers and clean socks when I do so....I feel it presents a far more meticulous image.
