When I saw this thread and .... WHO .... created it, I just rolled my eyes. You have a long string of examples in which your facts are incorrect, your information is lame, and your wisdom is well in doubt. Your telling us information you got from FOX News? You do know that FOX News is WRONG 83% of the time on science, right? Science deals with facts .... VERY OFTEN! FOX News has so low a credibility rating that the only folks in the nation that accept it as fact without question are the ones to stupid, uneducated, and unwise to realize they are being fed crappy information!
Second, are you really so dumb as to .... NOT .... know the United States of America has tens of thousands of threats to deal with every day? That each agency at the federal level (NSA, FBI, Secret Service, ICE, DHS, etc) have many more threats than they have people to look over each one carefully and consider how likely it is to happen? Yes, there are certain days the US Military goes on alert and each of those agencies above are even more on duty? 9/11, 4/19, Super Bowl Sunday, Christmas, 4th of July. What happened on 4/19/95? A pare of conservative philosophy individuals blew up a federal building in Oklahoma. Ever since, the goverment goes on alert for likely threats. However, you seem to blame the Obama Administration of not being fortune tellers. Or in this case, detecting horrible events with perfect accuracy. How many Powerball Jackpots have you won in a row? None? Ok, then you really dont have a leg to stand on with an arguement.

Given that you dont realize how often FOX News lies on most subjects, you are in a very poor position to argue who spins information the best! If one watched FOX News as their sole source of information, would assume the following:
1) Mitt Romney is the only hope for the nation
2) Paul Ryan is totally honest, and wishes to help ... ALL ... US Citizens
3) 4/19/95 was .... REALLY .... the work of muslim extremes
4) The President is a muslim
5) The President is going to give the USA to the UN
6) The President and Democrats are going to outlaw the 2nd
As mostly anyone with a brain (and know how to use it) can see, each one becomes even more blatantly silly than the previous. This forum is chalked full of threads to which conservatives come forward with information that is horribly inaccurate, and slammed with the facts. Only to come back the next day with even more lame information they report as 'facts'. I found that most folks that listen to FOX News only, have no clue what the Affordable Care Act is and isnt. In fact, none of them have actually read the document found on the White House's website (a simple google search brings this up too....first entry generally). They bitch high and wide about the 'Stimulus Bill' from 2009, without having a clue on .... ANY .... of the facts surrounding it. They didnt read the bill, much less know what its offically called.
NO ONE, whom is intelligent, educated and has a decent level of wisdom, accepts what FOX News states on any given day, as factual, without checking the information through other sources.

I actually get my news from CNN and Fox and some of my intertainment from MSNBC.
CNN at 2:21 PM CST todayran the story exactly as Fox did except they report Democratic Leaders are joining GOP leaders in pressuring the Obama White House to explain themselves. It is all over CNN now and they are not pulling punches on the President. I am gratified to see CNN do it's job as I am sure you are.
