I think that you should pick up a book at the library, to learn to hypnotize is easy as hell. As was pointed out you need a willing subject they do it to themselves. It requires a suspension of disbelief for a time is all.

You should just spend most of your time practicing on getting them to concentrate on relaxing, and spend your time in suggesting relaxation. If you do not do anything else, they will fall asleep. Make sure to tell them that they will awaken refreshed.

If they get a headache, they have other problems, leave it alone, that's for professionals.

Actually, abreactions are a rare, but truly existent fenomenon. IMHO everyone who's going to use hypnosis for whatever reason should learn how to deal with one. No exceptions. You need that training.

Fortunately, though. that can be taught in approximately 5 minutes.

The times when I've used it with subs, it was specifically a recording to induce sleep, on a sub who suffers from chronic insomnia. It's the same recording I use frequently to alleviate my own insomnia, and as expected, it worked like a charm.

I have absolutely zero interest in hypnosis as a means to achieve "mind control" or enslavement or anything like that. But I do see it as a nifty tool by which to enhance play sessions and so on.

Whhhhat? Well I find it to be all three after all I learnt it so it is teachable. Repetitive stands to reason. Reliable..l Gish makes me think you know about the subject. It is all three of those and more.
