Right in Obama's back yard?

These kind of stories do not bode well for our current President. Can he win if nobody shows up to vote for him?

NPR seems concerned about Black turnout

Again, can he win if they don't show up to vote?

Mania is not necessarily a good thing. It is difficult for Obama handlers to run a good propaganda campaign twice. Four years is too short, memories still fresh. Obama as a "lesser of to evils" they try currently does not create enough excitement for coming out to vote. They need to find some big lie that works on subconscious fear, focus on it, and then push really hard. I guess something is in works right now, watch for it coming.

Not to worry. Common sense will drive Obama voters to the polls in droves.

Hopefully, common sense will drive people to vote for the person they've given the most thought to and listened to their ideas most carefully.

Only if they buy into the fear and loathing which replaced hope and change, DNAV. I'm not seeing that, in the particular windows I have, while I was seeing it everywhere, four years ago.

I've actually been discussing the election with a good number of college kids, a bunch were home last weekend for Homecoming.

I can't believe how many that have asked me a similar question. "How do you sort through all the noise and figure out who is telling the truth?" That question by itself impressed me.

I just tell them, look at actions, the cause and effect of those actions and don't let anyone tell you what it is you are looking at. Think for yourself. And then I remind them while a Congressman or Senator represents you where you live, the President is a representative and employee to us all. The President should bring us together and keep us in step; he must be a leader, the coach, the boss and no matter the title he/she must be able to unify the team when times are at there worst. Think about the greats; Washington, Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy, Reagan and even Clinton had a knack for unifying the government and we the people when that was what we needed most.

Come on, really? Are you saying the dead voters showed up to cast ballots?

Nah Obama's got the dead voters of Illinois in the bag, it's the college age kids in the rest of the states he has to worry about.

Truly grasping at straws. He's 10 down in Ohio. Romney can't win if he doesn't win in Ohio. There is no way for him to overcome 10 points in a month. Sorry, its over.

That is a terribly uninteresting, pathetic, and hysterical question, I guess he will take his 10% or so and go on with the next four years.

Yep. The election is in the bag, so you can just stay home and play Xbox on the first Tuesday in November, then. Enjoy!

That would be typically inept, and inefficient republican policies in action, since subrob has already recruited the college crowd for that, and we dont need such red tape and over regulation.

Besides, I would go with DYB as a PS3 guy if I had to figure on it, but certainly he has better than a plain old xbox, he would have 360 for sure.

Time to wake the fuck up 'republicans', anyone who was alive during Ws era aint voting a republican for president, particularly since the party has been running some real dogshit for candidates at the dogtrack.

Have you considered living in Massachusetts?

Obama v Romney isn't interesting here, but Warren v Brown is.

Well things have turned so much that what should be slamdunked House races are in play now in very traditional republican areas......

DYB (hey, thats close to dubyah) but nevertheless what are your bets on your house and senate (federal, state if you want too) races in OH?

I think here we will have Klobuchar (though I have issues) and the state legislature will remain slightly republican (but we aint got dingbats like Bachmann (who will carry that area) at the state level).

Our Brown will win re-election. He was for the Auto Bailout.

I think some of the house races will be a lot more competitive than thought.
