I avoid gold mail. Of course that might be because I rarely open mail on that account and by rare I mean like every 6 months or so. Gold mail means little to me in the grand scheme of things. I am and have always been the type of person who says exactly what I mean and if that treads into dangerous grounds, so be it. I grew up in the time where kids still hung from the monkeybars upsidedown by their knees, not this new modern world where everything has foam cushioning. I figure we are raising a bunch of idiots by coddling them. We are denying them the ability to develop common sense in the old fashioned way, by getting burned once or twice. For me gold mail is like the government trying to make sure no one puts the baby in the washer, too much regulation. Phhht. I am going to say what I say, regardless of where that may have occured in my life. If I get pulled, oh well. I raised my own to have some sense and a tougher skin, its not my job to help others along that path. And if those coddled, pampered, never exposed to the realities of life people find themselves face to face with someone who might hurt them... YAY!, because then they will have gotten a lesson in the only way that is truly successful, experience.
