When will any of you who believe such things actually look it up and show us the proof? Do any of you even know about the 500 metric tons of yellow cake sent to Canada. This was reported by the AP. Not exactly your far left media. Look it up. Don't just walk around repeating the never ending propaganda spewed out by the globalists who want us to be under their thumb. Wake up...it's not about the politics...it's about controlling our lives and the money. This president and the previous are just puppets in the game. Lokk outside the bull. Think bigger. They stopped teaching history...Why?....It's just another form of "burning the books"...but, then again, you probably don't know what that means.

Oh pulllllllease you introduced personal information about your email habits hon, I merely observed an obvious irony and expressed confidence that you dealt with it like a true renaissance man. Forgive me for not realizing only you are allowed to deliver compliments in that manner,
   But yeah, I've got an instance for you. Take for instance how led the liberals were when the Tea Party promoted pictures like Sternskipper referred to presenting then candidate Obama half naked in tribal garb? You are so right, no way that should have bothered us. And you mention redlining? How about two words in response to that? Tom DeLay.

Just a suggestion..maybe look up several search terms... Oil, yellow cake, blah blah has been talked about over the years... right here in this forum
I see no reason to repeat any of it. Plus, this is about racism ..not oil or WMD.
Many of us are more than aware that politicians are not running the country or the world....

No, Polite, it's news coverage of racism. Digging through stories that could have run months ago, and turning an issue we should have some honest discussions about, into a gotcha and guilt based talking point.

Maybe there is a cultural gap, in the connotations of calling something,"national whatever month." As used in the thread title, it refers to a designated period of extra awareness about something bad, not a celebration, or festival of it.

Racism could sway the election

My suspicion is that there will be many such stories in the weeks ahead. Sadly, I think these stories will come, not because they are important, or need to be told, but because they'll help fan the flames of racial division, and poke at white liberal guilt in the run-up to the election.

You trotted out this meme at least once before, and I took the trouble to point out that African Americans have skewed heavily Democratic in recent decades. I even posted results from the last few presidential elections, in which African American votes for white candidates were strikingly similar to their votes for Obama.

To my intense annoyance, though, I can't persuade either CM's search engine or Google to find the damn post, and I'm too lazy to dig up all the information again.

Just freaking shocking that a group of people recently emerged from slavery, KKK lynching, jim crow water fountains, school and job segregation, and Bull Connor violence would dare to rise up and joyously vote almost en mass to elect a black man to the higest office in the land.
