It doesn't seem like it should require superhuman effort for the mods to be aware of personal attacks that have been reported multiple times. If they can't do as much as that, well, there's a problem.

For those that will voice doubts as to my statements, count the threads yourself on the main screen, that is what I did for new threads(that is also why I said the count was approximate) . As to the veracity of my statements, I would just not post a statement, rather than make a false one.

We try to stick to TOS and the owners intentions as closely as possible, while trying to make as many users happy on the forums as possible. We are human, I will not say that since personal judgement must be used in a lot of grey areas ( Ie, where a remark becomes a personal attack etc.), that sometimes our reasoning might not be obvious, but truly, we pull as little as possible. We are busy enough after all as it is, why would we intentionally make the job more involved?? [;)]( That last comment was an attempt at tongue in cheek humor in case it didnt transfer).

Why doesn't administration update TOS to reflect all the rules that are currently in use?

Before there is another misunderstanding about numbers, wasn't the highlighted above My personal tally or is that Needles' number as well? I don't think that's board wide, is it? If it's Mine, I'm confused as to why it's a part of this particular reply.

ETA - I still think the comment made on that thread over in Pol & Rel about how a personal attack can be determined would be more helpful if it were added to Admin Announcements. If that's a part of the complaint, wouldn't people having that info be constructive?

Edited to add : THAT IS BOARD WIDE. You do have a point about the personal attacks. I personally thought that any statement that starts with "You are" is visibly a personal attack, but you do have a point. At the time I made that statement, the personal attacks seemed to be a problem just in that forum, but I will see what I can do about getting the statement added where I can. Thanks for that suggestion, I will do what I can about it.

Second edit: I will be other places on the board and site, so even though I said this earlier in the thread, I am not planning on answering. I just saw what I thought were misconceptions and wanted to straighten them out. I am saying this before any replies so noone thinks I am evading answering.

Now, for what it's worth, and I am *not* attempting to capitalize on a mistake.......

If I am not mistaken, that incorrect comment is on a few threads. It should be corrected on each. Especially since the campaign to reprint it on various boards was rather obvious.
