Whoa...
Have we dated?

quote:

ORIGINAL: ARIES83

I would rather be able to love.

As arrogant as this will sound, I have no problem
getting people to love me, the problem is I don't
love them back.

I doubt many of you would know what it's truly
like to look at someone as nothing more than an
object, saying someone is a sexy hunk of beef
doesn't come close.

I tell myself I'm a monster for the pain I cause
and mourn the feelings I see as being lost.
It should be lonley not being able to connect to
someone... but I'm not.
I wonder if a lone wolf gets lonely... Every lamb
it gets close to, it kills.
I wonder if it feels like a monster... It doesn't.
It doesn't feel anything.

I think that for all of us, male and female, there is a pretty fluid line as to what is flattering and enjoyable, and what is offensive and squick worthy. Fluid in that, it depends on the people involved, and quite often, the amount of mind altering substances those people have had.

Were you perving me on shrooms again...?

It was the best pizza I've ever had.

I think the key is beers
I remember the first time I really felt objectified
was at the gym, I've known people who will get on
a machine behind a hot chic, the idea being it's like
dangling a carrot in front of a donky.
You have a nice bum in front of you, you work
harder all the while thinking "nom nom nom, I'm
going to get you carrot."

I was at a machine one day and a girl kept looking
at me, she wasn't attractive, anyway she came over
and sat at the machine directly behind me and it so
felt like she was using me as her carrot, I felt
dirty dirty dirty!
Now when I hear people checking out a girl and
saying, "she knows it." or "she loves it." I think
well unless she's attracted to you she probably
just feels dirty.

I used to be really hot, and get a lot of random stranger attention... and it pretty much rolled off me. Though growing up a freak helped, when people point to you and make faces, you learn to ignore uncouth strangers. I never felt "dirty", I was sometimes flattered or amused. Sometimes I just faced them down, and let me tell you there is nothing like making a man who is gazing at you like an entree back off without saying a word!

When I feel used is when someone acts like they want to be in a relationship with ME when they really just want a placeholder. "beautiful mistress", "elegant date". THAT is the kind of thing that puts me off entirely.

For the sake of discussion, because I'd really like to hear more about LadyHib's question, if you were not in a relationship, what would you think about a female profile that was specifically descriptive in what she was looking for in a man as far as physical qualities and kink? In other words how would you feel at being a fetish delivery system to a stranger?

Speaking as somebody who is here for the kink and has *always* been here primarily for the kink, I can give you a decent enough idea. Enough of them don't care about being a 'menu item' that it would seriously hinder a female from getting exactly what she ordered.

Shoot! A Dominant female can't write a post about strap-ons, watersports, or even a long hair fetish without emails coming in. A woman saying she wants to engage in a certain kink or find men of a certain physical description attractive will get her plenty of volunteers.

AND, as I said earlier, the men would not be deterred IN THE LEAST if they didn't match the description. Want someone tall and red haired? NO YOU DON'T! I am short and bald, I'm really what you want even though I am nowhere near your description, and am married though you want a single guy etc etc etc.

Which is the comical part--this thread was prompted by a guy who COULD NOT EVER POSSIBLY NO WAY "submit" to someone who didn't have the right look. The men figure that we don't know what we want, and THEY should be what we want. Or we are picky frigid bitches.

No kidding there. It irritates the shit out of Me. Do people *not* know that is the dumbest approach especially when the Dominant female in question (Me) makes such a big deal about obedience?

I don't think there's anything *wrong* with someone being as specific as he or she liked when looking for a partner. It wouldn't offend me. Though, if I really liked what I read and saw in a profile, only to realize I was disqualified by the laundry list, I'd be disappointed. But disappointment is a part of life. C'est la vie.

There's a guy in intros who is all butthurt that his deeply specific profile post was not well received. It was explained repeatedly that women are not fitish delivery systems, and are not items to be chosen off a menu.

Whenever these gender type discussions pop up, I try flipping the genders to see if the argument works in the other direction.

So, mens: are you items on the menu? If I made a post saying that I wanted a six foot tall redhead with green eyes, Useful Bits of a certain dimension, an Edinburgh accent, and who loved being beaten with a sjambok, what would you think?

Do you want him served with chips or rice :) Thats what you are looking for, not a problem with me as we all have our preferences

I want a fitish woman.

And for the record....I am a six foot tall redhead with green eyes, useful bits of a certain dimension, an Edinburgh accent, and who loves being beaten with a sjambok.

(But that's just me).
