I just had a discussion with a male and his female about his attempts to control her dominance. In essence he had been telling her how to dominate him and when or where. After speaking awhile she started getting the message. Looked at me and said to her husband you selfish bastard its my dominance qnd we will do it my way from now on. He wanted to fight me but I let her handle it thinking I had done enough damage to him for one evening.

When I was in grad school, I would have loved to have an assistant to do office-type things for me. There were many weeks when I literally slept for about 3 hours a day several days in a row, just to get my research, classwork, writing, and job duties done. I certainly wouldn't have had time for any "under the desk" malarkey, though.

The risk of a harrassment suit adds to the excitement...but seriously

So many women say that male subs aren't good at housework and are just playing, so if the subs are actually office workers, mechanics what ever I don't see dominant women wanting those services. Some want carpentry I have seen that but a lot of men work in offices so the things they are good at don't end up benefitting the dominant. Of course a lot of women are office workers too, but you don't see women trying to take advantage of men on the job (enough).

I don't think they're complaining that male subs are BAD at housework, but rather than they are unwilling to do housework. There is a cliche of the sub saying 'I want to obey you' until the domme says 'do the dishes'.

And if they are bad at it, good news! It's very easy to learn.

You can have skills that are helpful to a domme without doing them professionally. I'm not a professional chef, chauffeur, personal assistant... but that doesn't stop me making myself useful in those ways.

I did, i stopped. Frankly, I've found because you guys sux at the "office work". Like it has been repeated, your hearts are not into it. And anyway, housework is harder to screw up and you lot are doing that constantly. That doesn't give a girl a lot of confidence to be letting you near her business. If you can't assure an employer of your professionalism, you don't get the job. If you're looking to work in the office for a Domme, she is going to look at you as an employer, nevermind what you get in compensation.

Exactly! I spent a boatload of time fixing a friend's mistakes on the job last year.

If a sub has a skill, I will use it. It takes no special training to do lots of the grunt work I need help with. Too bad if that's not what he would prefer to do for me. We can do those things later.

My livelihood is not a game. We can play office boy in our free time.

One of my ProDomme friends got stung severely by a "service" sub who begged and begged and begged to do her website. My cat could have done better with a blindfold. AND he got all pissy and prissy with her about how she was ungrateful for him doing it and got all butthurt when she pulled me in to fix it, and admittedly I wasn't very sympathetic either. But she had no choice seeing as he'd stolen and locked down all her passwords and content and leaked her paid content all over the net.

I have a need for an assistant. I have no need for him under my desk, interrupting my work so that he can get his jollies. I have need of a housekeeper, but no need to waste my time in playing... oh you left some dust you naughty boy(!) and spanking his ass. Work is work and whether that be an office assistant or a house cleaner, it is not a game. Could it be playtime? Sure... but after the real work of real life is done. Some project I might need done could be incorporated into playtime, but the majority of it, I just need done. THAT is why I need an assistant!

I have hired house cleaners. It takes time to teach them what I want them to do and when, what is important to me and what the needs are. It would take far more time to play with them and make some serious work, not so serious.

I have had men that assisted me in various ways, but no way would they be employed by me and bring some excitement maybe to them and legal issues for me.

When I see someone that says... I want to do your housework, I want to be your assistant, there are most often a few things missing. Like anything that leads to their qualifications as an assistant or maid and the establishing of anything that would consist of anything worthwhile to me. It is more like, at selected times I want to come to your house and play house boy or assistant. Let me get my kink on and you play with me so I can. NO THANK YOU, that is worthless to me.

Oh... you went there! ROFL... now I can get my sadistic on! One of the first things I teach my men about me is, don't assume you know me, what is going on or anything that motivates me and don't ever put words in my mouth.

First of all, the men I raised, cook, clean, know how to fix homes, cars and anything else that breaks or know some basics about it so they can get the right person to take care of it. How dare you... losing a battle of wits and real life bring in our parenting to your kink.

Secondly, I didn't and don't know anyone else that said that men stink at serving women. What most are saying is that most men that say they want to serve really want us to serve them in providing for their every fantasy. With them... it would be simpler to say no thank you, pass... next. So you did get part of that correct.

Actually, I have served in exactly that capacity.

I used to serve as a research assistant for a Domme in NYC. We met on-line, and I used to correct her typos in messages that she sent to me. It's a pet peeve of mine. I'm also a bit of a grammar Nazi.

She was working on a documentary, and she eventually asked me if I would look over some of the work that she had done so far. As she suspected, I automatically corrected the grammar errors and typos. Eventually, she started asking me to do some of her research for her. Over time, I became her "research assistant sub". She knew that I did extremely high quality work, and that my writing skills were very good. So I was exactly what she needed.

I served her in that capacity for about 3 or 4 months before we ever actually met in "real life". Moreover, I never mentioned sex, and our relationship was strictly one of administrative service.

Because I had served her faithfully without any mention of sex, I think it made her feel much more comfortable with me. Eventually, she added a sexual component to my submission, but I don't think that would have happened had I not been so diligent in my non-sexual service. For example, if at the beginning I had suggested that I do all of my work on my knees under her desk, I don't think we would have ever gotten started. And I'm totally certain that she never would have felt comfortable using me for the sexual service that she ultimately came to rely on me for.

I guess the moral of the story is that if you seek only to serve, your dick will likely reap the benefits in the long run. But if you focus primarily on your dick, you'll probably chase away any Domme who might have otherwise been able to utilize your services. But of course, YMMV.
