Is there any way you can understand a slave is not a switch? It happened to me and did not know how to cope with it cause he was also a lover.

No one can predict what will come to pass.  This is a journey of discovery.

a true slave doesnt switch.thats what that has to do with that. otherwise it souls be a switch. duh!

Actually, this would imply that a switch is somehow -less- desireable than either of the polar states... which is rarely the case. There are many wonderful switches who are both -excellent- slaves and -exceptional- dominants. We have had the occasion to rely on such individuals heavily, when we had a full household. These were the individuals who were servants to the free members, and were also responsible for tending the other servants (our Chatellaine and Butler, for example).

Switching does -not- have to mean lesser quality on either end.. it just means one who can both serve and manage others.

One effective way is to hand them the whip and see what happens next...

What like a switch detector?

Unfortunately no you have to ask them if they like to change things up either regularily or from time to time.

Plus those of us who are switch and know it will declare it upfront.

Yes but the unfortunate part is that newbies usually don't have the experience or vocabulary to voice things like this yet.

a switch will want to walk side by side her master. a submissive will want to walk slightly behind master/mistress. a dominant will always walk in front as the pack leader.

The only corrective behavior is to make the switch carry a large water bottle. by giving her a task to perform she'll quickly fall behind the dominant into her proper role. lol

ROFLMAO this tells me you have no experience with a switch. My reply to this would be bitch do it yourself and leave him standing there with his mouth hanging open looking at the bottle as I walk on. It takes an extremely special alpha personality to curb that resonse. I've only met one so far that was capable of dealing with it.

Well, barring a tattoo on his forehead that says "I Switch," the best way would be to ask him if he switches.

I learned something just now.  I'm not a "true" slave.  Damn.  And here I thought I was doing so well up to this point.  [&o]

But hey... the attitude that came with that pronouncement was just too, too funny.

Blk,

I was trying to find out what other people think lived or experienced. It was a complicated situation. I'm over with it and do not want to go through same things.

Yes I've have had asked him but becasue of the reasons (at the reply I wrote to theRose4U) he or other slaves are not honest. :)

Is it that they aren't being honest? or is it that they are partners that turn kinky with you and don't have the ability to explain their desires?

I've read some posts where there is all the "true" this, that, and the other thing.  Or he's not a true what ever, or she's not a true what ever.  It seems to me that one thing is almost quite common; people using this adjative "true" seem to be inclined to have limited perspectives on what others should be conforming to inorder to claim a certain title.

Am I a true sadist because I like to beat the snot out of willing masochistic men? Or am I not a true sadist because I refuse to do the samething to persons of my gender?  We change as we grow through life.  Does that mean someday I'll become a pain loving masochist or worst a man loving nympho?  God I hope not.  LOL

The trend kind of runs in circles on topics we see over and over again. It's becoming "true sub season" again. Lots of times "true" is used by the insecure or inexperienced to defend a shakey position. Somehow they think by invoking the "true way" their personal opinions will gain weight.

Unfortunately the internet brings out all kinds. Most say they are one thing and lie to make thmesleves look better. Who knows what you are talking to online. People want to lie online. Why I dont know.

Like i said i wasn't answering this for you. since you so immature to bring fat into  it that just proves how mature you are. I  am answering a forum. Just a clue its not all about you. Try experincing a life outside of online.

This "debate" seems to be elevating to the level of, "I know you are, but what am I?"

Are You kidding me?!?!?!?!?!?!? Still flabbergasted at this total lack of knowledge....

Ok, for one, i am a switch.
Secondly, i admire, respect, in complete awe of, love, am proud as all get out of *my* Master.  He is the *only* Man in my entire life that i have ever been to fully submit to... Always having that urge, or need, or fire, ( whatever you want to call it ) i was never trusting or comfortable enough to be completely submissive.  i always sensed that if i were to do that, eventually, i would have to drag the 'ole dusty domme boots back out of the closet, put 'em back on and regain control of the situation.  Then, put them away, and go back to my knees.  Only having to repeat aformentioned routine about once every two months.
Now, when it comes to *my* Master... i don't walk beside Him.. unless of course, that is where He wants me.  If that is the case, He will indicate as such.  Otherwise, i heal, quite nicely i think. i have no problem with calling Him Master... in fact, it's a natural thing.  And ya know, i was thinking about starting a thread in the " Ask a Switch" because, some very uhm.. strange "submission" things are happening to me *gasp*
Regardless, i will say this.... a switch is nothing more than a person who adapts to their surroundings... and usually is in " survival " mode.  It's more of a state of mind, than just a "bedroom kink" thing...
Zero, please please please, get more knowledge of said topics before making a statement as the one you did.  It actually offended me, in a big way.. ( not that it matters i guess.. but, eh. )
