Kind of makes you want to make sure you get out and vote if only for the thought of nullifying some other knucklehead's vote. If this really makes you upset, go to this area and run for congress.

You have no idea. I've lived in GA all my life, and the stories I could tell you...hell, if you ever want a bizarre experience, go walk around a Walmart in GA after midnight. Never fails to entertain and mildly horrify.

Why not marry this vacuous nut off to Ahmedinajad of Iran? The two of them sound like an ideal match - made for each other. Todd Akin and Michelle Bachmann could give the couple away ......

In a single bold initiative, we could have peace with Iran, gay marriage and get two dangerous lunatics off the world scene.

The kitchen discussions between the two would be the stuff of immortal comedy as they ponder whether the 12th Iman will return before the Rapture ....... to the sounds of smashing crockery ......[:D]

Words fail me on this one. And he sits on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.

We're in for more of this not less. The religious right has figured out that they need to get control of science and education in order to make it say what they want to hear. So anywhere that one could stick a politician in order to throw a monkey wrench in things they will be trying.

What is it that Romney believes?
That Jesus came to America from another planet....?
So what makes this Broun guy weirder than other Republicans?

Nothing makes me want to vote.

Supreme Court.
Supreme Court.
Supreme Court.

The next president will likely have 2, maybe 3 vacancies to fill.

And if that's no incentive enough, read some of the essays written here:

http://90days90reasons.com/01.php

You may not agree with all of them, but #17 nails it.

Here's the best one: Gore won with 1,000,000 more votes.

Ah let us not forget that Todd Akin, Missouri Representative and Senate candidate whom stated that "legitimate rape" would only rarely lead to pregnancy - is also a member of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. Makes you wonder what is really going on there huh? Maybe some kind of Secret Satan Cult? I see a Rosemarys Baby in the works -

And good ol' Georgia - where we cant forget that State Rep. Bobby Franklin proposed a bill which would make abortion completely illegal and potentially put to death women who suffer a miscarriage.

WHO THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE? THEY SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL.

Im actually surprised he aslo didnt go on to claim that the world was flat, that the sun revolves around the earth, and that Spontaneous Generation were valid as well.

Noting that this guy is a medical doctor makes me wonder anew at the praise for the intellectual capacity of MDs touted on the Anti-Intellectuals thread.

Sure does. How can someone who doesn't believe in biology be a doctor? How did he get past Bio 102, let alone get into medical school?

The rejection of demonstrable reality in order to maintain his belief system and sadly he's not alone.
