I wasn't going to comment on this thread because it's pretty shitty but, at this point, I feel I almost have to. As per usual, I am of two minds on this. Someone dumped a load of manure in a parking lot. Because of where the parking lot is, it's a good guess that it was a political statement. Of all the different kinds of speech, I think a good case could be made that political speech is the most important to protect, based upon the constitution. Some people in Warren County thought that this was the statement they wanted to make. Technically speaking, a law was probably broken. Animal (one would hope) feces was purposely placed somewhere where it doesn't belong. Someone broke a law (or three) while making a political statement. The Alabama Freedom Riders broke laws, too. Sometimes, civil disobedience is how a point is made and maybe even *should* be made. Yes, the person that did this, if they're caught, should get a slap on the wrist but let's not start warming up Ol' Sparky just yet. I would feel the same way if it were the Middlesex County Libertarian Headquarters. Peace and comfort, Michael

Well spotted and pretty much what I was thinking, when I wrote the post. In 1986, back when I was a republican, I had an absolute issue with anyone that wanted to burn a flag.
