There is also the absolutist argument that burning the flag is wrong. In the codes, the ONLY proper way of disposing of a worn flag is.............wait for it....... burning. I see rob is still twisting in the wind regarding his selectivity as to which criminals he likes and which ones he doesn't. Democrat criminals, round em up Republican criminals, wink and laugh at em.

No, in my world I can separate the two... the criminal from the crime. Well spotted and pretty much what I was thinking, when I wrote the post. In 1986, back when I was a republican, I had an absolute issue with anyone that wanted to burn a flag. I still have an issue with that person's choice but I defend their right to burn that flag. Where? When? Have you actually ever done that? Never mind. That's two that don't understand the differences in this matter between protected speech and common vandalism.
