Even when called out for specifics Ryan just kept repeating the same vague answers.... As for the the debate as a whole, nothing really you could not have expected,

Ryan just kept repeating his talking points

But in one area I think the GOP is happy, because everyone is talking about how Biden acted, not how Ryan never really stepped up or gave specifics when asked to explain how they can cut 20% and not raise taxes anywhere or what programs they would cut

Our newspaper, The Tribune Democrat, had a "fact check" section about the debate this morning. In most cases they said Biden had the most "inaccuracies." The two biggest lies : The Obama Government didn't know the Ambassader asked for more security, (proven a lie by the recent hearings) and the Obama Administration was responsible for "saving" GM. FACT is, the bailout was started by the Bush Administration and was continued by the Obama administration. Since this is one of the Democrats major talking points, this is a BIG TIME lie that can easily be fact checked. I don't know who our newspaper used as "fact checkers."

Well, if that's accurate you're certainly going to ruffle the feathers of a few of our fellow posters that work within or/and or live around the auto manufacturing areas. Their rebuttle should be interesting.

The moderator also took it to Biden on Afghanistan way harder than Ryan did.

Pretty bad when the Moderator knows more than the republican candidate for VP......That was embarassing for ryan....Time to send him back to Wisconsin.

Here is a FACT - Joe Biden lied about the embassy not requesting more security; They did, they were denied; now they are dead.

Got any proof of that?

Well it is true that Bush passed the first Bill. It is also true that Obama passed the second larger bill that came with qualifications for that aid that the first bill didn't have....So your fact checkers are kinda off

Biden acted like a total jerk and never let Ryan finish a point without a lot of interuptions, and the moderator let him get away with it.

What did it matter anyways? Ryan just kept repeating himself. Over and over and over and over and over again. He just would of said the same thing for the tenth time.

Well I didnt watch it until this morning...
How Biden stopped from saying, WTF several times was funny
Ryan was slimy his visual tells were telling....lol
no doubt in my mind that ryan was the loser
I guess no one is surprised
I still think having their testicles wired to a cattleprod at the hands of fact checkers would be a damned good idea
I was actually thinking Ryan would do better,Im glad to be wrong occasionally :)

Does the fact the Mitt wrote an op/ed in the New York Times...........

calling for letting the industry continue to fall into bankruptcy without a bailout.....matter?

A big thinker like you wouldn`t think about that.....Yes?

It should also be pointed out that McCain held the same "no government help"policy ......................for America`s top industry and jobs maker.

No stimulus...no bailout....no help accept for more tax cuts for millionaires.

Losing jobs at the rate of 750,000 a month(the jobs report, remember?)in 08......adding Detroit`s failure and implied job losses....that could have easily put us into a depression.

Millions more Americans would have lost their homes and jobs and the number of foreclosures would still be going up today.............. instead of going DOWN for the 1st time in 4 years.

Is that how you cons would have given us a "Real Recovery"?

And giving bush credit for the bailout, after he let his recession fester for two years, into a catastrophic collapse and meltdown..... is a bit much....

Biden also lied. He said they had no information on an additional security request for our embassy that was attacked.

Biden either lied about that, or there's a major, Major, MAJOR lack of communication between our Consulates and Embassies and the White House.

There was a cop there -- and she aided and abetted the old man.

Hate to say it, but the Orioles v. Yankees preempted the debate on my TV. The Orioles avoided elimination.

Biden acted like a total jerk and never let Ryan finish a point without a lot of interuptions, and the moderator let him get away with it.

You must have watched a different one than me. The moderator called Biden on it more than once

You must have watched a different one than ABC's, CBS's, NBC's and CNN's analysts.
