He didn't mention any military service....that was your issue. It goes to whether my appropriate response to his extremely offensive and personal ad hominem attack is that he needs to shove it, or that he needs to shove it sideways, and dry. Clear as mud, Lookie? There are myriad people here who prefer to attack. (It's a chosen profession). Winning an argument, influencing discussions (educating people to facts) requires that one stays on topic and not deviating solely because someone pissed you off. Stay on topic, keep your emotions out of the discussion and in the end, the facts will land as they should.
