Hmmm, there seems to be a new ploy for trying to get dates. It used to be that out-of-towners would ask my advice about someplace to eat, stay, or visit while in DFW, then when I'd reply, they would ask me out on a date. Now local guys are doing something similar. It has happened about three times in the last month, each time with a male dom. It goes something like this:

Date Seeker: Hi, read about your Femdom group and it sounds interesting. However, I am a Male Dominant. Can you recommend a group that would be good for me? I'm seeking (blah, blah, blah usually something like a friendly group, a low-pressure group, a group for newcomers, etc.)

Me: <sends them some group recommendations based on what they said, or a listing of the local groups if they didn't specify anything in particular>

Me: You're welcome.

Date Seeker: Can I repay the favor by taking you out some time? You seem like a really nice person.

Me: <Rolls eyes and politely declines>

Nothing to repay--this takes less than five minutes of my time. I get tons of inquiries in my inbox about the Femdom group, so answering a couple others really is not a big deal. Guess some guys will try any ploy to get a date. I didn't realize answering a simple question indicated that I want to be asked out. And if they're a male dom, they're barking up the wrong tree, anyway.

DP, I think it might be that spell check just didn't pick up everything. That's the only thing i can think of.

I just got my own lil tidbit of joy. A guy I saw twice who never contacted me again, about 3-4 yrs ago, just sent me a c-mail. Not only is he now out of province but in the hospital for tests. He's been in for 3 wks so has to b e serious I guess. But calling me babay girl and pet does not endear him to me in the least. He asked if I missed him, told him I wasn't the one who stopped contact. Nope, sorry just isn't gonna cut it.
