Well, that's a newish twist, Blonder. Could have been worse, I guess.

I used to know someone who made everything into other people's song quotes. It was so blasted annoying I cut him off and told him to come back when he could get his message across in his own words.

I'm a songwriter. I work really hard at crafting lyrics I hope come across as meaningful, clever and soulful. Language mated with haunting music is the medium of my art. When somebody lays on the self-made 'rhyming hallmark poems' (and recently there has been a lot of that from someone I'm not interested in) it just frosts my cookies. I know they mean well, but...ughhhh. It's so hard to take seriously.

Peeked at your profile, and I don't think you're that short. I do agree you have problems with buying off the rack, my SO has the same problem, but I once dated a woman who was, I shit you not, 4'7".
