A kinkster is someone who engages in kinky activities. A fetishist is someone who requires the fetish to be present in order to be able to achieve an orgasm. I like being a pervy bitch but i don't need to be to get off. Hell sometimes i even like *gasp shock horror* plain ol' vanilla sex.

I would describe myself as both a kinkster and a fetishist, although usually I go with "garden variety pervert" - but by "fetishist" I mean more along the lines of fascinated by fetish in general: my fetish is the whole concept of fetish - I'm a meta-fetishist, lol.

But you're right, for me, fetish is an enhancement rather than a necessity.

I can't really deal with non-kinky though, so maybe my fetish is kink.
