Fine, took the journal down. And I never said blacklist, I said post. Since I had seen it on other women's profiles, and have better things to do than read the TOS of every single site I join, mea culpa. But, WOW. Real easy to sit behind your screens and type that venom against someone you don't even know. I guarantee you wouldn't be so rude to me if you met me and I had told you the story in person. So valet park that high horse and excuse me for trying to help a sista' out! Did I screw up? Yes. By having the least little faith that I would get an answer to my question, not criticism. Ya know what? I DID move on, and it's NOT High School bullshit. Red flags aren't always red... Fool me once. Got it.
No venom. Oh, but don't think some folks aren't just the same in person as they are on line. If you told Me the story in person, I'd be asking you what was *your* part in it. In My view, unless you were sexually assaulted against your will, you were right there with the guy doing whatever it was that was done.

In the above, you say you screwed up. Why aren't you focusing on that instead of calling the other person out?

Kana -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 1:46:10 PM)

I've never read TOS either. I just, you know, try and act like a decent human being, hard as it is for me sometimes

Every time somebody says they didn't read TOS, it makes Me think of this. http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/382786/you-didnt-read-it

You know what? I work in a high school. I hear this BS EVERY DAY.

"it wasn't my fault, the others were doing it too"

what this smart bunny said [:)]

i dont work in high school but i work in a day centre with kids who go there after school, aged 5 to 10 and we have the same drama...

like "but he insulted me, so it was my right to shove his rain boot into the toilet" or

"why do i have to go off the swing...if you are so mean to me I will be leaving and go home now!!!"

quite frankly....learn to live with it that you will always encounter people who will not be who they claim to be or who claim to be friends when in reality they only want to benefit from you....

just learn to spot them earlier than in the past....[:)]

ShadesOfTeal -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 2:18:15 PM)

YEAH! OK I GET IT!!!!!! There was study on customer service that if you have a good experience with a service/store you will tell 2 people, if you have a bad experience, you'll tell average of 9 people. So today I learned more of life's endless lessons...Never type when PMS'ing. And just roll your eyes and move on. You too.

If someone knows a way to delete this thread, please let me know.

LaTigresse -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 2:23:40 PM)

No delete...........it's going to live on in infamy. AND, it can be seen by anyone that wants to view your profile and learn allllllllllllllllllllllll about you.

Cool how that works.

The difference is this is not a business. This is relationships be they casual or long term. Most have no desire for someone else to butt into their PRIVATE lives.

And nowadays, in the world of Facebook and social media, folk tend to tell more like 100,000.
Welcome to the interwebz darling

A blacklist is a blacklist, regardless of what you call it. It is what it is.

Since I had seen it on other women's profiles,
Just because you've seen it on other profiles, that doesn't make it right.

and have better things to do than read the TOS of every single site I join, mea culpa.
It's your responsibility to read the TOS when you join a site. When you click that little box, it's saying you DID read them. Now you say you don't, so does that make you a liar? In which case, why should we believe what you say now? Bottom line? Ignorance of the TOS is no excuse.

But, WOW. Real easy to sit behind your screens and type that venom against someone you don't even know.
Venom? I have no idea what you're talking about. If you think this is venom, well, you haven't seen anything yet. This is mild, considering you stomped into the forum with your little rant. You post on an open forum, you don't get to pick and choose your replies.

I guarantee you wouldn't be so rude to me if you met me and I had told you the story in person.
Then your guarantee would not be worth much. I am the same way on these boards that I am in "real life," maybe a little nicer here actually. If you came up to me, say, on the street and started ranting about phonies/liars/abusers without showing me any proof to back up your accusations, I'd probably come right out and tell you to quit your F'in whining and shut your piehole. haha

So valet park that high horse and excuse me for trying to help a sista' out!
You are NOT my "sista'."My sister is a lot more mature than what I've seen here and she owns her own shit.

Did I screw up? Yes. By having the least little faith that I would get an answer to my question, not criticism.
You screwed up alright, but not the way you think. You screwed up by coming onto this forum and having your little rant. You expect sympathy? No one wants to hear someone rant or tantrum. That's why they answered they way they did.

Ya know what? I DID move on, and it's NOT High School bullshit.
You could have fooled me. You're acting very high schoolish on here. "But eeeeeveryyyyone's doing it!!!!!" Yeah. Whatever.

Red flags aren't always red... Fool me once. Got it.
They are if you're paying attention.

Nope. This thread will live on forever. Now anyone and everyone that looks at your profile can check your posting history and find out what you're really like. Karma's great, isn't it! [:D]

We should take the word of a complete stranger (on either side of the kneel) on whether or not someone is "real" or a "scammer"? Do you have any idea how quickly your name would go on that list just for saying "no thank you" or even ignoring someone's email?

It isn't brain surgery to figure out that blacklisting isn't a good idea.

TommyCelt -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 7:17:35 PM)

Chalk it up to experience definitely, SoT...namely never, EVER share your emotions with perennial denizens of a message board. If you disturb their little fiefdom, they'll gleefully land on you with both feet.

LaTigresse -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 7:52:45 PM)

Well hello there..........who were you in your previous incarnation?

TommyCelt -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 8:17:07 PM)

In all honesty, this is the only CM profile I have. Nope, can't prove it...it's the truth nonetheless.

I was simply making an observation/stating an opinion (and you know what they say about opinions!). I may be new here, but not to internet message boards in general. Same here as every other WWW address.

NiceButMeanGirl -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/18/2012 9:35:07 PM)

In all fairness, ShadesOfTeal came in here tantruming about phonies/liars/abusers and wanting to blacklist them without proof. Whether s/he used that word or not, that's what s/he meant. TOS' profile has been hidden, so that's why the "s/he," because I have no way of knowing which it is. When someone charges onto a message board tantruming, s/he should expect to be greeted in the way s/he was. I think we were being very mild, all things considered.

If the op could, she would probably add you too to her blacklisting. I mean, you can't prove who you are so you must be a FAKE!

TommyCelt -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/19/2012 3:52:16 AM)

Ooooo...CAPS. You must REALLY MEAN IT.

Is there a place, either on these boards or elsewhere, to post negative experiences/warnings to protect other members of the community from phonies/liars/abusers, etc?

That's a question, not a charging onto a message board in a tantrum.

The TOS should have been read, I 100% agree. But shit, talk about doling out a $5K ticket for a $50 buck crime...

LaTigresse -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/19/2012 7:33:53 AM)

Ahhhhh dude.......what you saw on this thread was sweetness and light compared to some.

As for the 5K ticket...........no one can ever acuse us of not being generous.

sexyred1 -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/19/2012 8:22:57 AM)

No. You just have to somehow gain the strength to get over it without help from the "community".

ivone1 -> RE: Negative Experiences? (10/19/2012 10:28:31 AM)

how does one classify it as a bad Dom or just a bad scene... sometimes in life things happen in a negative way... and there is not going to be a perfect scene everytime... so why try and blacklist someone when it was just a bad scene instead of something else.. just saying...there are always two stories to the picture
