I am just amazed at all the obama ads I hear on the radio and see on t.v. because most of them are not relevant or they are flat out lying. Great example would be here in florida they play an add that talks about a plant closing and in the smallest print as a disclaimer at the bottom it says this all happened before romney was even involved but they make it look like it was a direct action that was caused because of romney. Extremely misleading ad and very dishonest. The people who support those type of endorsements are funding lies and false accusations

see if you can sit thru this video and tell us who has been lying???
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HV0s1B3I6c
or is flip flopping easier to swallow?

At the end of the article.....

The choice is clear. The Romney-Ryan ticket represents a constricted and backward-looking vision of America: the privatization of the public good. In contrast, the sort of public investment championed by Obama—and exemplified by both the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the Affordable Care Act—takes to heart the old civil-rights motto “Lifting as we climb.” That effort cannot, by itself, reverse the rise of inequality that has been under way for at least three decades. But we’ve already seen the future that Romney represents, and it doesn’t work.
The reëlection of Barack Obama is a matter of great urgency. Not only are we in broad agreement with his policy directions; we also see in him what is absent in Mitt Romney—a first-rate political temperament and a deep sense of fairness and integrity. A two-term Obama Administration will leave an enduringly positive imprint on political life. It will bolster the ideal of good governance and a social vision that tempers individualism with a concern for community. Every Presidential election involves a contest over the idea of America. Obama’s America—one that progresses, however falteringly, toward social justice, tolerance, and equality—represents the future that this country deserves. ♦

Lots of things changed around the time of Kennedy, including the parties themselves.

kdsub -> RE: Obama endorsements (10/22/2012 8:34:58 AM)

Yep Kennedy started it and LBJ pushed it hard... The great American social revolution...Over shadowed by Vietnam but far more important in the long run for social equality…great stuff of history by an unlikely President.

Mister Obama ....
he continuously apologizes for being an American to other countries.
he is a complete idiot.

Maybe he's worried that they think he's from Kenya as well?

Maybe they know something Obama doesn't want us to know?

Great urgency in reelecting Obama? Again we have the most importantest election eveh!

Privatization of the public good. What a turn of phrase. Couple that with social justice (whatever the hell that means), tolerance (that's a fucking hoot right there) and equality (doesn't exist anywhere in nature) and whet do we get?

the future that this country deserves.

I can't help but thinking that this not actually help Obama. After all the average American, who distrusts people of intelligence, will just feel like this is all the more reason to vote against Obama. (I could have said "vote for Romney", but I still have a hard time processing how anyone would actually vote for Romney.)

But am I surprised that intelligent people support Obama. Not at all....

It doesn't require much intelligence to process this:

Obama = Socialist State
Romney = Democratic Republic

mnottertail -> RE: Obama endorsements (10/22/2012 8:46:54 AM)

Yeah, and it shows.

Kosta -> RE: Obama endorsements (10/22/2012 8:48:54 AM)

Not the ad I was talking about because I can't even find the ad by it self ( maybe I am searching it under the wrong name) but during my search I did find this ad that also was just wrong in the facts. http://www.mrc.org/node/40588

Problem here is most people rely on the ads and the debates yet fail to do research themselves to determine an outcome. Instead they let other decide for them. You know these ads are made to target your emotions and swing you toward seeing it from their side so they will say anything they can to exploit that. To the people voting this election I'm not telling you who to ote for but I am telling you research both sides from both points of views and fact check what they say instead of blindly believing or just don't vote at all.

I know right?   it would not take much intelligence to process that.  Even your common garden variety pond scum whilst suffering from mold allergies would know that is ignorant horseshit.

Don't take any intelligence at all, do it?

That is NOT the case on this forum,
stick around and you will find that out
and its a good idea to back up your claims to be taken seriously

The choice is clear indeed. Couldn't be clearer in fact. The Romney-Ryan ticket represents what the Founding Fathers gave us -- liberty. The Obama-Biden ticket represents what the Founding Fathers opposed -- tyranny.

Kosta -> RE: Obama endorsements (10/22/2012 8:58:26 AM)

is that not a video example of my claim? Sorry I must have been looking at a different video then what I posted :P
