The evangelical version is longer and has no Huckabee narration.
The message is just sub titled across the screen,near as I can tell word for word what Huckabee did on the shorter version,a bit curious ,eh?
Either way I prefer God to stay out of elections....certainly don't appreciate being threatened,in a subtle unspoken way,with the fires of hell for casting the wrong ballot.

Watched it. Didn`t actually throw up. Quite. Yay me.

The protestants aren`t alone. The Catholic Church is gettin in on this action.

Some Cardinal made a statement. Something like this:

In each party there are individuals with good values.
But one party has a platform that includes sin. The other has a platform free from sin.

Now, I`m not telling you how to vote...

But if you vote for the party with sin in it`s platform,

Maybe...

Just maybe...

yer gonna burn in hell.

Last Sunday, the sermon at my Unitarian Universalist church was voting-themed. I learned our congregation consists of a few Republicans and Green Partiers, more Democrats, and a majority of Independents.

Our minister started by talking about George Carlin's view on voting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIraCchPDhk , tossed out a few ideas on how to reform the process, and then encouraged us to vote, while in no way endorsing a candidate or threatening our immortal souls, lol.

He lied. Not everyone shares that growing concern. Chuck Norris isn't concerned. The growing concern is concerned about Norris.

Are people concerned about Norris? Do all the uberman jokes about him show respect or derision?

Republicans in genera probably love him, so are not `concerned`. And, by poll numbers, there seems to be rather a lot of them.

ETA: Democrats...or liberals...probably either laugh at him, look down on him...or ignore him. So: not concerned.

I happened upon another video. One that counters Chuck`s fears of 1,000 years of darkness.

One thing, though, that does concern a lot of people. I know because approximately 10% of the apps in the App Store relate to this imminent problem. It has movies and TV shows dedicated to it. It`s used by epidemiology profs as a way to engage their students. Yes, it`s...

I think the link pretty well explains itself.

Joss Whedon is a big time director of movies like The Avengers. I don`t know if Chuck has ever directed a movie, but he`s very wooden in the 1,000 years clip. Whedon is a very natural actor.

And, unlike Chuck, Whedon actually gives cogent reasons for his claim.
