I am of the shall we say it larger size and i am comfortable with who i am and I don't let anyone's comments bother me at all. Don't care if called BBW or Curvy- heck its just a word and that's all. Its how we present ourselfs and our who attitude that really counts. No one is perfect or we'd all be molded the same and it would be pretty dull.

KyttynTheMynx -> RE: Would you consider me a BBW? (11/2/2012 10:56:45 AM)

No.

On another note, who cares what you are? On a page I admin on Facebook, we get this question A LOT. Like to the point where we all contemplate slashing our wrists over this stupid question. Why are you asking strangers which "box" you fit into? Chances are you will never get to know any of us to a point where our opinions will EVER matter one gosh darned bit.

Are you a good person? Do you try to live a good life, and cause no harm to people who cause no harm to you? Those are the things that will matter when youre nothing more than bones in a box.

i'll refrain from posting my real opinion on this thread.

it's great that you have high self-esteem. good luck on whatever you're looking for.

I won't refrain. I think this thread is full of hypocritical assholes who are self loathing, no matter what their size. They inexplicably cannot stand when another woman shows confidence. Many of the women here are fat and yet they put down the larger women who do have confidence and other women who are allowed to call themselves BBWs.

And the thin women cry foul at anyone putting them down, but they too, talk about anyone who dares to feel good about themselves. Some of the women in this thread actually are schizophrenic; one day, last week one of them went on and on about how body shaming was SO awful and now in this thread, boom, BBW's are disgusting.

I think the lack of support from the haters is just sickening.

You know, the women appear to be the ones with the issues. I have never in my life made a comment on another woman's size.

I will say it again, YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF A BBW IF YOU WANT TO AND IT DOES NOT MATTER ONE BIT IF ANYONE ELSE LIKES IT BUT YOU.

Because, and I know this is SO fucking hard to believe, but many of us larger ladies are gorgeous; like the OP and we have always known it. I support ANY women who believes in her self.

I think it is ludicrous that the OP even came here to ask that question. Just look in the mirror hon, your size is not the issue, your beauty is.

Yanno..........I just went back and re-read and other than one single person, I don't see anything that could be seen as nasty or hateful.

I am beginning to wonder how skewed your filters are to see hate when most posts were actually flattering. Excluding the posts that have nothing at all to do with appearance but instead, motive.

I said you look obese - and by your height and weight you are in fact not.

Look - I didnt set these numbers - Im not sure who did and Im WAYYYY too lazy to research it any further, but I figure if someone has a problem with it - they can do the research themselves and contact the proper party.

chatterbox24 -> RE: Would you consider me a BBW? (11/7/2012 1:47:24 PM)

YOur a very pretty girl. Not skinny, not rolly fat, unique build to you. When I think of BBW thats what I think of Lots of heavier layering all over. BUt I really dont even use that term at all or give much thought to it.
