I can honestly say.... truthfully, and without any deceit of any kind that I've had anal sex tons of times with ladies who hadn't done the douche/enema thing and I have NEVER experienced a flying shit storm.

As for the porn industry.... mmm.... You may have more insight (no slur on your morals intended) but Giving two or three enemas seems fantastically silly to me, and is likely to create far more risk of real harm to the lining of the rectum.

It is quite common to give enemas before anal in the porn industry, but that is not because of "storm warnings". Mostly its because one or more of the actors require it before going anywhere near that area, real or imaginary

Just to clarify - I never said that there is poop 100% of the time. But there could be - and sometimes is - I mean hell, unless you keep watch on what the other person does all day long, how do you know they havent just gone to the bathroom? You dont.

I more or less posted this thread as its a reality - and was wondering how people dealt with it. - but Im starting to assume from the posts that all ass takers have golden bums and never poop. Good to know.

There are 2 sphincters, one between the colon and rectum and the anus. After a bowel movement, yes, there probably is residue in the colon and rectum. I wonder if sometimes a man's penis penetrates the internal sphincter and that is what causes most of the messes when they occur.

I rarely have any kind of mess but it's generally only when I pass that second sphincter.

I have had both ends of the spectrum, and all colors of in between. But if its something you enjoy, you put up with the small stuff... I had an ex who lost bladder control when she came, and that made for some interesting encounters I can tell you. Point is, if you are having fun, just deal with it. Soap cleans just about everything

I've never had problems with this...I enjoy anal but have had to give it up with bo because his piercings HURT, lol.

Giving is a different matter. For fingering, I've worn gloves and sometimes there is a little something up there that is a bit abrasive. Because I didn't want him to get sore while I was getting him used to enjoying anal, I stopped sooner than I would have liked to. I've never had someone get an enema first when I am putting on my gloves...and yes, sometimes there is a little bit of something remaining up there that will come out and soil my glove...that's when I change gloves and wipe the outside with a dry wash rag and then re-lube and dive back in.

Enemas have become part of our prep now because I am finally into something I said I would never get into, strap on play. I am not happy with the enemas because it gives him gut cramp and the saline can cause burning during anal sex. With smaller dildos we didn't need anything beforehand but I've worked him up to larger stuff and...I noticed that on some days, stuff had moved down the pipes but were still 4 inches up there and hadn't triggered his need for a BM. It would limit penetration to about 4 inches. Because of the girth (we're talking 2 1/2 inch diameter) I worried that "packing the fudge" could harm/rupture his bowels so we have been experimenting with enemas beforehand. Neither of us are happy with this; I am not into enema play and neither is he, it's just a means to an end and I dislike the saline ones...and there is no other type offered in my area.

JanahX, some risk factors for infection for men can be reduced by their...simply having a piss afterward. It flushes out the urethra and helps with bacteria. When bo got his piercings, to help keep them from getting inflamed, he was told to piss on them. This worked better than the saline spray he bought, lol. (Psst...my ex-husband was told to piss on his feet after showering to help clear up his athletes' feet, and it worked.)

We also inject about 4-6 oz of mineral oil up there because we like the extra lube. I handle the mess after I pull out...by holding a small hand towel over his butt and then tell him to push some of it out. Even then, for hours afterward, he has to sit on a towel...when he passes gas he also passes some oil. He messed up a chair before I figured this out.

I would suggest using coconut oil instead of mineral oil. Mineral oil can prevent necessary functions of that area.

I second that. Any petroleum based oil will leave a residue inside him.
Coconut oil is good providing he doesn't have an allergy to it. Water based lube is a pain in the ass (literally!!) because it dries out too quickly.
I personally would recommend a vegetable based oil.
