I haven't expected one of those from very many lefties around here in quite a while, Mike.

The problem with demonizing and marginalizing the opposition is that they just might pick up Alinsky too, and flat not give a fuck what you (generic leftie "you") think anyway.

Official unemployment is 7.9%, and rising. I do give a shit what the people who care about that think.

On the "apology" front, when did apologizing become a no-no? In my experience, the ability to take and voice responsibility for one's actions is a sign of clear thinking, self-confidence, and maturity.

That's the problem with running as a blank canvas, especially when the vessel within is empty of all but self-esteem.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that "cover the liberal ideology's ass" bit of spin. If Obama loses (and watch this segue back to the topic) I'm sure we can count on Paul Krugman and many more libbie pundits going to great lengths to push that idea.

I want a President who can play well with others, and get shit done without alienating half the country. I want a President who can run on new ideas and optimism about the future, instead of namecalling and a vision of a diminished USA where people want welfare, instead of opportunity.

If you are ready to give up on the rest of your life, then by all means, vote to reelect President Obama. If you still want more, then vote for the man who thinks you should be able to go out and earn it.

I'm curious to know if the recent statements by our Senate Majority Leader, a Democrat by the name of Harry Reid, have made it across to your news? Reid has flatly declared that the Senate will not work with President Romney.

If your standard is applied, I guess we just have to pick our traitors, don't we? I'll go with the guy who hasn't already failed once.
