I believe submissive women come first over vanilla women and should be at least protected in this cruel world.

One belies the other.

For the record, you just had a bunch of submissive women, which is your target audience, tell you that what you wrote was off putting. So, you can either take it to heart and revise how you approach things, or you can go through your search offending at least half of the women that you seek out.

Be careful, that point of view offends him.

I do believe that everyone has made their point.

BDSM in general brings up red flags, warnings, cautions, manipulations, abuse and other horrible things. Being over the internet makes it worst. The world is a ugly place. Maybe I should use better choices of words or maybe Im just not what you or some other women are looking for, regardless how i say it. Sometimes I'll never know until I try. Know one can really know anything from over the internet regardless how I put it. Hell, some people live double lives in the vanilla world. I was offering "friendship" as well. Hey, I get it, some women don't like the words "mentor Dom for sub" in same sentence. I'll keep that in mind.
quote:

ORIGINAL: Alecta

Friendly warning, the "Dom mentoring a sub" demograph is populated largely by men who abuse it to take advantage of women without putting back the same responsibility due to an Owned sub. Maybe you're not that, no-one can know just from you offering to mentor complete strangers. Try finding better words to elaborate on what you want to do.

OP, you may mean well, but you are coming across like a white knight. This happens alot on the message board side of Collarme. It is offensive because you don't know any of us and as you noticed, it sounds like sweeping generalizations to say submissive women do this or that.

You are very welcomed here to have discussions, but your point of view is probably better suited to your own profile posting on the other side, than coming into this area offering your services.

It is always better to just say, hi, I am new here and would love start a discussion about some interesting topic.

The smarter people starting topics, the better. As you will find as you peruse these boards, there are many people who start the most ludicrous threads, and while entertaining, they are not stimulating any interest in finding what they want.

Good luck!

I dont know what youre talking about. Sorry the world YOU live in is so horrible. I hear that there are scientists from NASA that are looking for another earth-like world to move to when our sun goes red-giant in Three Billion Years.

BTW - whats an "Earthly-Dom"? What does that mean?

anniezz338 -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/3/2012 8:20:43 PM)

I didn't take your intro as derogatory towards submissives at all. Just your way of looking at things in your perspective towards what you are seeking and willing to give. Welcome to the forums.

absolutchocolat -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/3/2012 8:23:07 PM)

whatever it is you're looking for, welcome to the forums.

SirElegance7 -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/3/2012 8:58:10 PM)

Well I hope this thread gets deleted because I dont like how this started off at all for me. Im not a person who believes women are weak and all these other negative things. I've never been that guy. Did not mean to generalize and I was not implying these negative things about sub's women that your finding offensive.

I was told if i post again by the admin I will be removed from this forum.

VideoAdminTheta -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/3/2012 9:03:50 PM)

I did not say that if you posted again that you would be removed from the forum. I said that if the thread continued as it was, that I would have to remove posts or lock the thread.

Introductions is a place to welcome new members to the forum and not an area to correct anyone for anything they feel someone is doing wrong.

OsideGirl -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/4/2012 9:46:38 AM)

So, I'm curious. What do you think that "some" submissive women need protection from?

SirElegance7 -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/4/2012 2:50:46 PM)

I tried to edit my original post again and I'm not able to. I was told I would have to do something worse than offending people.

I "DO" not wan't to offer anything to anyone anymore. You people are right, who am I to offer protection (rhetorical? but someone will probably answer it anyways). My thinking is warped. Where is the sense in offering that shit to ALL female submissive strangers anyways(rhetorical? but someone will reply). As you see I'm not an eloquent writer, my grammar and spelling is probably terrible as well. But its very "possible" I could have been sincere at the moment. Its also possible this may be just a misunderstanding. Even if its unlikely, "ANYTHING" is possible. Well I believe anything is possible. But lets chalk this up to ignorant's s is bliss.

I admit to generalizing by saying hello to "ALL" submissive's, that was wrong. I understand that the word "protector" may be synonymous with "weak or scared." That was a mistake. Hey the whole damn offering anything was a mistake. But I was not implying these negative adjective's all or maybe some of you are saying about me. I do not walk around in life thinking these negative adjectives about submissive's and people in general. I do not believe in the Webster dictionary or any other dictionary's meaning of submissive. I'm actually a positive person.

Nice backpeddle.

Um, welcome to the discussion side of CM, where it helps to know what you're talking about before you make big pronouncements of protection or help or whatevah, and if you don't know your shit, people *will* call you on it.

This is a great place to learn and offer advice where you can. Get over yourself, a bad intro is no biggie. Stick around and I think you'll find we don't bite (much).

I do suggest not frigging overmuch with the mods, however, they don't like it.

When lighting stricks, I may just be quick enough to push her out the way. I can protect her from a speeding bullet. Or better yet, I can protect her from dirty street water being splashed on her when it rains. But she may like getting dirty so im not sure. Well, your right I dont need to protect a submissive. I cant think of anything really. TaTa!

OsideGirl -> RE: Earthly-Dom. Blk/M 30yr old In D.C area. (11/4/2012 3:11:27 PM)

It's always so nice when someone decides to throw a hissy fit rather than understanding what people are saying to them.
