Generally you can tell by the photos.. But if that does not give it away, then kindly ask them for proof and if they constantly avoid the request chances are you got a fake.. You will learn as you go, the only real way to avoid the "fakes" In terms of gender and age is to go to some real life events.

even if the person is a "fake", you're not supposed to blacklist people. it's against the forum rules.
