Yep. Most of the letters I get saying the guys are moving here are just looking for wank fodder. On the other hand, my sub lives in AK and I live in WA. But we've been seeing each other in person every two to three months since we first met and, when we IM/talk on the phone, it's not wank fodder. He's been visiting this area off & on for years & plans on retiring here as, when he was in the military he was stationed down here and he found he loves the area.

I wish I had a nickel for everyone who said they
are relocating. It is sometimes next to impossible for
me to get someone local to show up at Starbucks. Most
are just fantasy based and have no intention of following
through with more.

We get a lot of those messages too, but we live in the area around and are listed in a college town. Its not uncommon for them to be freshmen or grad students getting ready to move to town.

The ones in the middle of a semester are usually a load of crap though.

Essentially, it's just a bunch of game players. Never even thought of doing that myself. Unfortunately, I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I have yet to find anyone into the scene. But that wouldn't cause me to start trolling people in areas where I don't live just because it's the only perceived way of making some kind of connection.
