ORIGINAL: JanahX How so? I realize that its not the complete platform - I just chose some domestic issues that are currently being discussed here in P&R at this time - so I combined three of them to see what the Right side world would look like if it came into play. Not sure what one you are referring to that Im focused on. I provided the stance on those specific three issues of the Republican party - to show I wasnt that far off. I suppose my last scenario came from a couple of threads Ive been involved in on (actually this site) - where someone asked if I would pay their 9 cents for them. This and in other threads from different sites, where Ive seen R party participants that would choose not to contribute to the poor at all through their taxes. Its an extreme - but the thought is there. Good question. Or questions..... Because every Democrat is fearful of Republicans, largely because of their stance...Aiken and others....they don't speak for all Republicans. But they probably speak for most. Sadly. I think I said once, a while back "people have been freaking out about abortion rights since Nixon....and nothing has changed because there isn't a gawdamned one of the Republicans on this planet that would dare fuck with women or their opinions" (they gotta go home and get laid too you know). But the truth is, it's Democrats who hold the fort....and frankly, if they didn't, maybe those fat bastards WOULD storm the fort. But...they haven't....and they're not likely to so..... Quit worrying about shit that's never going to happen....worry about shit that will. Democrats are worried about losing their union status. That was lost decades ago....now let's worry about how to pay for bridges that cost 4 times as much because of union agreements. That you pay for. And you ain't (statistically) union....so....why would you be in agreement with a concept that you'll never participate in....but pay for? Why not accept the fact that there's a better way, and one that you can actually participate in. (That saves {you} money....)
