They've gone back to work, focusing on the things that matter, realizing that their guy didn't win, and now they'll be focused on covering their asses knowing that yours will be as exposed as a warm babies butt.

As usual, you have no idea what you're talking about.

You should stick to what you do best, starting idiotic threads that end up in Random Stupidity. At least those are marginally entertaining.

this country is going to hell in a hand basket and makes the option of moving to another country quite appealing. I'm glad I have that option as opposed to the many that don't and have to live with the crap the american public deal them. I cannot believe the american public wants to put up with 4 more years of uncontrolled spending, false promises and false hopes.

Germany or England are so much more inviting after this debacle.

There's something you guys need to come to grips with. First of all, Obama is arguably the least popular and most thoroughly mediocre incumbent ever to be re-elected. With his miserable approval ratings and the terrible economy, the Republicans should have blown him out of the water by double digits - yet he won a decisive victory. He didn't get re-elected because people mysteriously liked him for no discernible reason - people voted for him because they disliked and distrusted Romney even more than this miserable, arrogant, incompetent blowhard. Think about that one a bit.

Until you conservatives get that through your heads and understand what it means, get used to getting your asses handed to you every four years. Get yourself a serious candidate who actually understands the issues voters are concerned about, and run a serious campaign that shows respect for the electorate, and then maybe people will start to take the "R" seriously again. Until then, y'all have nobody to blame but yourselves for putting yourselves into such a pathetic position. You've priced yourself out of the market on crazy ideologues.

Tsk tsk... thats the bet rob and I had... unless you are gonna squirm out of it... err.. I mean... unless he is

he or she is not me... I don't do socks, and I don't renege on bets. President Obama is a handsome man, and I only wish I had hair like Vice President Biden.

There, both bets fulfilled for this week.

There's people who welch on bets. rob isnt one of them.

tazzygirl -> RE: Tick Tock... (11/7/2012 8:28:16 PM)

Speaking of Colorado, how did the pot measure do?

Looks like it passed...

Absolutely, I personally don't partake in the sweet leaf, but it's potentially a great new form of tax dollars.

ETA: I deleted a close quote thingy, but dont know where. This is my text:

Tax revenue from purchase by locals, sure.

But now how about TOURISM???

Not just even more income for the retailers (and tax for the state). The hotels, restaurants, etc that serve the hundreds of thousands who will visit & hang out to be able to smoke up legally!

Money-wanna.

Think Amsterdam.

People are already planning their -trips-.

Ooooh. OOohhh....

You know how sources for gambling, booze, fireworks, etc spring up right inside the border with other states in a state where they are legal...

Same thing is gonna happen. Heck, the same outlets, if they exist now, will start carrying pot. Quick cross-border shopping trips.
