In the real world, every employer makes a profit off each employee, hence how they pay them.. Now I own a small business, under 25 people and having the dam insurance monkey off my back would be great. My part of the premium is insane, but if I want good people it is a price I have to pay...and each year for the last 12; insurance cost have gone insanely up, while coverage sucks, but their profits and corp salaries have greatly increased I would welcome a "free market" with insurance, but the GOP has written the laws under Bush; they each have a protected area, which is why it is not an free market when it comes to insurance, we are at the mercy of insurance corp greed.. Don't believe me, just look at Texas...tort reform passed, so insurance companies are limited to how much they have to pay out, yet they have the highest premiums in the country...so much for free market and all it will save the little guy
