You deny that sales of weaponry has been through the roof and will continue to do so?

Any validation for this opinion?

Just wanted to comment some common misunderstanding of Americans concernig socialism. First, you've never experienced socialism, not even with FDR, so you have such misconceptions that one can't know where to begin. Nazism wasn't even a special branch of it as someone said, the word socialism in its name was just a lie. The Nazi party was a perfect blend of capitalism -see the association with the Krupps for instance- and nationalism, nothign to do with socialism. Obama isn't a socialist, just a left wing capitalist. Socialism can be good -like in Sweden or Britain in the 60's- or not so good like in Cuba. There's even something in the middle like Germany's social market economy. In America there's more risk of a soft kind of nazism if the extreme right in the Republican party gets stronger than of any sort of socialism. Believe me.

What is the problem with socialism in cuba as you see it?

Please. If Obama hadn't ratcheted up the hate, he'd have not had his subscription renewed. He ran a highly divisive campaign that pitted rich against non-rich, old against young, women against men, and non-white against white. Grand healer and unifier I think not. Hope and change became hate and blame. Forward was more like backward. The gun and bunker-building businesses are going to see their stock prices go more through the roof than they already have. More food will continue to be hoarded and stored. I hope you aren't squeamish about eating bugs and are scheduling time to learn how to catch and cook rats. And that could be a rosier scenario.

Do you have any validation for the moronic drivel in this post?

Be careful throwing around nazism claims. The nazis were a special breed and you'll realize how lucky you are should such ever come anywhere close to dominating the American political scene. The more socialism comes to the fore, a nazi reaction becomes more likely to result certainly.

Just in case the GOP decides to remove it from their website:

For Democrats, It’s (Ground) Game Over

RE: For Democrats, It’s (Ground) Game Over

The Obama camp has been firing off a number of memos in desperate attempt to convince the media (and themselves) that they’re not losing. What they aren’t telling you is this isn’t 2008; the numbers show we’re doing much better in early voting, and they are doing much worse.

But more importantly we are poised to blow the Obama campaign out on Election Day thanks to a superior GOTV program and a historical GOP Election Day advantage

In the four party-registration states (Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada), we are poised to win the Election Day vote by even greater margins than we did in 2008. That’s right, Jeremy Bird, we beat you on Election Day even in 2008.

This time around we have over 150,000 volunteers across the battleground who have already contacted over 53 million voters and expect to contact millions more from now until the polls close tomorrow night.

The Democrats have expended much energy to make the point that more Democrats than Republicans have voted early in some states. It makes sense that the same desperate campaign that made “revenge” their closing argument would make this ridiculous stat the central defense of their ground game. Republicans are an Election Day party. By and large, we vote on Election Day, and we vote in much larger numbers than Democrats.

Democrats’ problems are compounded because, as they fail to tell you, they are cannibalizing their Election Day voters. The great turnout operation they claim to have isn’t turning out enough new or sporadic voters; they’re largely getting their reliable voters to vote early instead of on Election Day.

The Republican strategy has been the reverse of the Democrats’. We have turned out our voters who aren’t as likely to come to the polls on Election Day, securing their votes during early voting. Now, all that remains to do is give our reliable voters the final reminder needed to get them to the polls Tuesday. And we have many more reliable voters left than the Democrats.

In Colorado there are over 26,000 (34%) more high-propensity Republican voters available than high-propensity Democrat voters. In Florida there are 166,000 (21%) more; 85,000 (47%) more in Iowa; and 16,000 (22%) more in Nevada.

And in Ohio, Republicans have 368,000 more high-propensity voters available than Democrats–72 percent more, in fact–and enough to off-set the Obama campaign’s most optimistic (and unrealistic) early vote math.

So, when you add it all up, the Democrats’ early vote advantage just isn’t big enough. Republicans will come out ahead, and Mitt Romney will claim victory. And our superior ground game will ensure that the margin of victory is even greater than these numbers would suggest.

The Obama campaign’s superior ground game is a myth. They claim they have double and triple the people and offices across the country, yet poll after poll has shown voters have been contacted equally if not more by the Romney campaign and the Republicans. It goes to show you what big government bureaucracy gets you.

I’m glad Democrats are so eager to talk about their ground game. The more they talk, the more they prove the numbers don’t add up.

It’s (ground) game over.

Nothing with GOP attached to it shocks me anymore. They and their followers have become a bitter, hateful lot. Not a good way to be. For many reasons. Most significantly because it's hard to get elected with a message of "hate". GOP = Grouchy Old Patricians

Tax cuts for the rich didn't lead to the banks' failures and the subsequent real estate melt down--the repeal of Glass/Steagall did. And though that repeal was signed by Clinton, it originated in a republican House.

If tax cuts improved GDP, put people to work and encouraged the wealthy to invest and hire, then we'd have no problem with unemployment right now because the wealthy have been living with tax cuts since 2002. And don't spout off that they don't invest because of some kind of "uncertainty". Those cuts were scheduled to expire years ago and everybody knew it when the cuts were first given.

Clinton proved that taxing the wealthy doesn't do anything to impede job creation. More jobs were created under Clinton than under Bush, who actually sat in the Oval Office while we lost millions of jobs.

Who'd have thought? There is someone out there who is actually taking Palin's notorious advice "Retreat and Reload" seriously.

And there's probably no more damning thing that can be said than someone is actually taking Palin, the failed Governor, failed VP candidate and failed reality TV 'star', seriously. Some people are too fond of failure for their own good.

Palin's limited relevance to US national politics began and ended with another electoral debacle for the Right. Four years and one electoral drubbing later, the Right doesn't appear to have learnt a single lesson from its repeated humiliations. (Is any one surprised by that? I didn't think so!).

So stock up on your cans of beans, off to the hills with you and join your fellow looney Right refugees from reality.

Eating worms and rats ...

How near-cannibalistic that would be for the righties, and this fellow's fascination with such a diet somehow does not strike me as too ironic, if you understand my meaning.

An 'on the ground' manifestation of capitalistsas destroying capitalism.

Still pissed at the result then ?

I dont understand why some on the right consider the US to be a democracy, ONLY when their side win. Did you miss al the hate spewed at the President ? Did you miss all the divide and conquer tactics of the Republicans ? I find it laughable thay you feel Obama won the election by using a divisive campaign when the opposite is true. You speak of entitlement on the one hand and continue to piss and moan because the electorate didnt give you the result you feel entitled to have had....... Ironic huh ?

So...... if America keeps PROgressing and expands the safety net......what the lunatic fringe mistakenly calls "socialism"...we can expect the GOP to fully embrace fascism and nazism?

Thank you for totally shattering the myth passed around in '08 that "Obama is going to make guns illegal".
The last 4 years is the first time in decades that more gun shops have opened than closed. The industry is actually moving in a positive direction and a lot of them are American Made.
Quality American jobs.

mnottertail -> RE: It's over for the Democrats. (11/10/2012 6:36:22 AM)

And same deal except much higher numbers on NCIS checks since around 2005.

It is the way that people view guns, and the rise in crime rates since then.

That is the reasons, not the chicken little Obama is trying to take your guns away.

flyhumbleguy -> RE: It's over for the Democrats. (11/10/2012 6:36:53 AM)

That's just balderdash and ignorant of large swaths of history. The Soviet Union was arms-raced into the ground. Germany only had money to pay off East German debt because the US provided funding as well as a protective umbrella to Western Europe for decades after WWII. Globally, there is more integration of peoples and economies than ever before. A lot of this was the result of the end of the Cold War.

flyhumbleguy -> RE: It's over for the Democrats. (11/10/2012 6:39:27 AM)

With re-election, there is still time. Obama has more returned troops from overseas as well as an expanding drone force to work with. My guess is that the movement in the market is a recognition of this potentiality.

mnottertail -> RE: It's over for the Democrats. (11/10/2012 6:51:10 AM)

LOLOLOLOL.  That is a fucking lie, plain and simple.  Show me credible citations that we loaned them money for that (remember, Israel is our asshole buddy and they were dead set against das Wende (or would it be die Wende?  Hilf!!!!!) So we laid back pretty hard in our recliners sipping Mai Tais. And watched the inevitable sun setting.

Our only requirement was that the reunified Germany remain part of Nato.

The Krauts loaned a bunch of money to Russia as sort of a wergeld to get the deal done.

The collapse of the soviet union was way way more than their being armsed out.  That was no great big deal, just another straw.  Poland and other satellites wore their ass out, Afghanistan, poor economy.

I think Russia and other old CCCP countries have a pretty good fuckin arsenal still to this day, sport.  Don't rewrite history particularly when you have no knowledge of it whatsoever, try and make the lies closer to the truth, and you might take in a few feeble-minded.

#EPIC #FAIL

Show us the money.
