Give me a break. The one thing I detest is when people call strangers on a message board, a clique. There is no clique. There are people who either know each other because they met or spoke off line or they gravitate towards someone's words or they agree with them alot or find them humorous. I am kind of sick of these threads that say we attack newbies. Sorry, not true at all. If someone is an idiot and argumentative about the advice THEY ask for, or they are consistently delusional or ask some idiotic question that a child would not ask, then yes, I will sometimes be snarky. I actually hold back as well because I don't want a gold email. On the other hand, when anyone seems to really need help, advice, comfort or posts a thoughtful topic, I am right there to help or be nice. But the truly surprising thing, is that people are actually analyzing what goes on in a forum, that people are utilizing statistics (men vs. women percentages). Really? Do you have that much time and investment in a free site that you need to do that? And, who is anyone to tell others how to behave? We are all ostensibly adults here. I come here for entertainment only. If I was a newbie, I would not be learning from a message board. Yes, there are those who can impart knowledge, but as all knowledge in this arena comes from personal experiences, don't take it all that seriously.
