ORIGINAL: chatterbox24 If you have been in a "relationship" for 4 yrs I would think you have already been in training?? To little info to go on. I am no expert by any means, but a training collar certainly means different things to different people. I feel a little differently, I like the idea of training. Just as others have said, you really need to ask her what it means to her. Could it possibly be, you are wanting a symbol, something tangible to make you feel content in the relationship? We are not in a relationship. It's just only play. If it is just play then the only reason I can see as a use for a collar is as a restraining point or for use with a leash. Otherwise, collars are usually a sign of ownership. I've worn collars during play because I like the way it looks, how it makes me feel. It can enhance play for me, however, I had no interest in being collared by anybody I've worn one for.
