I think one reason we should all care is the access to emails the FBI and others in the GOV have do to laws past years ago... I mean hell what I'm writing right now could be looked over by big brother...the laws passed by Bush and the GOP and then continued under Obama need to have some controls placed on them or ended We lost our privacy after 9/11 and all those dam laws passed in a blink of an eye

The hook of "news," "scandal," "adultery," and "sex" is ratings gold. Paula Broadwell does sound like a psycho-bitch, whereas Monica Lewinski just struck me as sweet and harmless. If we use CM as just mild example: Adultery threads fire off like bottle rockets and can go on for fifty pages. Americans were more upset about Clinton having sex than the US invading IRAQ and killing 100,000 plus civilians there.

FR, it is my guess/opinion/whatever......that they are looking for a spy and just happened upon the adultery shit. I could be completely whacko but I won't be surprised if finding one, or more, isn't the end result. And if that is the case, the general could be in a whoooooooooollllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeee lotta hot water than resigning isn't going to get him out of.

Well, as related in the NYT, Eric Cantor knew about this in mid to late October, and didn't use it to insure Obama was a one term president, now...if a republican being led to a November slaughter wouldn't say shit when his mouth was full of it; I expect some other very much larger game is afoot.

I think she was working her way up to it. This story is weird. I still can't understand why she went to the FBI instead of the regular police. If she had this would still be secret. Police are limited in where they can look. The FBI has a much wider scope. In starting this probe she got not only patreus caught but also herself. Why the hell are they calling her the socialite? Is she married to thurston Howell the 3rd? I don't ever recall a mistress being called a paramore.

nope, why the fuck would I worry? I told you I don't give the glimmer of a fuck what happened. I am guessing that in the end only the rightwing is shitting their pants over this one. It will be as damning as St. Wrinklemeat having an embassy blowed up in April, getting 251 million from the government to secure a new embassy, having that blowed up in September and then the military installation in October. Who knew what then when then?
