ORIGINAL: MrRodgers This IS capitalism babydolls: ...sit on your ass while the market is passing you by. ...ring up $100's of million in debt to cover your ass...while in bankruptcy. ...continue to give yourself (and your drinking buddies) big raises and $millions in severence ("severance")...it's okay...you're probably a union member....perfectly understandable....pay...while in bankruptcy. ...easily pay for you and your families healthcare and retirement. And when it all blows up finally after a career going bankrupt (must have read Trump) ...BLAME the UNIONS. It's all good..... It is beyond stunning how so few understand broad scope economics. This isn't about unions. Any business person with 100 or more employees not only respects unions, but frankly, loves them (those with fewer employees....hate them). Unions (for larger employees) actually train employees to meet said employers goals (it's in their interests to do so). They cover health care (at 70%, while non union employers often cover them at 100%, such as my firms), they take care of pensions (not that you'll ever receive it, and for those who work fewer than 5 years...."never" is the operative word). But for those who work hard, give their all (such as police, fire and related, those that put their lives on the line, commensurate with what we all as a society deem their value to be)...I say pay 'em all we agreed to and more. X's 12! Painters, asphalt, others....uhhhh.....no. Slime (not the painters.....not the pavers....the union fucks that seem to know better). I probably need to learn to express my true feelings more accurately.
