littlewonder, if a sub says they can tribute next week I tell them to hit the road until I see money if they're new. Those aren't really the problems it's the ones that have no intention of tributing but lie and say they do.

My answer still remains the same. If they don't come back, then they don't come back. So what? No loss, no gain. Big deal. Shrug your shoulders and move on.

Actually I think it is a Jihadist attempt by China and Russia to steal our Money and Sex!!

Wow, Long read to catch up on this forum topic.

Alot of interesting ideas being thrown around over the course of this conversation, but here is my penny's worth.

In any dating or sex site you will have stand ups. Same with the main industry.

On another not to this as well there are ppl like me. Having a Seductively Demanding stuff of me is very very, well, erotic. I also enjoy when the Domme actually "Controls" the finances in a relationship, but doesn't actually demand it.... rather she dictates what I can and can not buy... which is the original Fin Domination from back in the times before I was born.
However, a while back I was with an individual who, I trusted, didn't show restraint. By the time I was able to come out of sub space one morning, I had lost almost all my savings.
This of course traumatised me..... badly. Now Fin Dom is a hard limit for me. But at the same time I love it when I'm asked to give a gift, and to give gifts freely, but reserve the right to say no. Which granted isn't Fin Dom. But not everyone understands that, so they might think this. At the same time it generally is the Dommes job to help Subs and Slaves overcome their fears. So if someone is afraid of letting thier money go, its up to the Findomme to help them overcome that before expecting a continues payoff.

Anyway that my opinion on the matter.

I think the answer to your question lies in the simple fact that these subs are typing with one hand - because their other hands are on their penises - and they’re masturbating.

LordofDecadence,

I understand where you're coming from but if you had messaged me, for example, and wanted to meet me or explore being a sub of mine and explained that to me up front I wouldn't have an issue. If you had messaged me and said you wanted to explore the same thing but rather than explaining the situation you said you wanted to buy gifts for me, told me you purchased them, sought out attention from me then cancelled the purchases then we would have a problem. I fully understand not everyone is cut out to be a fin sub, that's fine. I just am confused what anyone gets out of blatantly lying. Is it really worth going to such lengths as to cancel purchases and what not just to chat with someone for a bit. Just don't get it. And I will have to politely disagree with you. As a fin Domme it isn't my "job" to help anyone overcome anything. I'm not their therapist. If you're afraid of letting your money go then why the f would you contact a fin Domme lol

Lol I know this much. I guess what confuses me is if the fetish is the monetary exchange then wouldn't one want to actually tribute to get off? I remember once a sub and I exchanged two or theree messages on here and he said he wanted to tribute and asked for my yahoo screen name to chat more easily. I have no problem doing this so I gave it to him and he messaged me on yahoo and told me that giving him my screen name was enough to get him off and that was it lol. And I just sat there perplexed as to how someone could get off just from getting a domme's screen name. I guess I forget that people can find anything arousing even simple chat. Because in my mind chatting with someone for some time about very vague and basic non-fetish things isn't sexual. so ill continue chatting because they will keep up false pretenses about planning on tributing and then it a sub says "oh I got off. Bye." I'm feeling angry and used and I guess it's because I don't find innocent, get to know each other chat "wank material" so I don't even realize I'm providing it and that's when I get angry.

i read your previous posts, so i'm aware it's not your main source of income.

business, hobby, or whatever you want to call it...my advice remains the same. either pay to play on a more "serious" site, or use that block feature, darlin'.

I have had subs go to such lengths as to purchase items from my wishlist, fwd me a copy of the confirmation, and then cancel the purchase. And for what? It just seems silly to lie about such dumb things but I suppose I've always been a very honest person and shame on me for thinking others were the same.

I think there are alot of men out there who get bitter when they cannot get sex for free, and love messing around with women who charges a fee to take out their frustrations.
That's just life.

fetisheden -> RE: No this is not a rant but a genuine question. Why fake being a financial slave? (12/6/2012 5:35:53 PM)

yes, this completely

if you fuck them, you are a slut.if you don't, you're a lesbian, if you charge, then you're a bitch, etc...

Why fake being a financial slave? Because they can. It's really that simple. People fake things all the time.

I've never paid much attention to subs that send messages saying that they want to tribute this and that and blah, blah. That's just not how it's done, in my opinion. A quick way to shut them down is to ignore the message.

I have very loyal financial slaves. They approached me like a real person and just talked to me. A D/s relationship (whether it be a fin-Domme relationship or any other D/s relationship) is still a relationship and they do not happen overnight, some take days, weeks or even months of talking like real people, building something that could eventually turn into a very real D/s relationship. I've never met a true financial slave/sub/fetishist that dangled gifts and cash like prizes. If you choose to respond to these types, you're just setting yourself up to be trolled/scammed.

Regardless if this is your only source of income or if you have five other jobs/careers going on, you still have to present yourself professionally. You don't have to be a pro-Domme, to act professionally. The more professionally you come across, the better your chances of being treated with the respect that you're demanding.

TNDommeK -> RE: No this is not a rant but a genuine question. Why fake being a financial slave? (12/10/2012 8:54:31 PM)

This.^^^^

Regardless if it's your first, second or third job or not a job at all, it's something you do. Do it right or don't do it at all. There are going to be ppl who waste your time. Move on. I guess I must have perfected My way of doing things, because I don't really have these issues. But Allison said it right, be professional.

ThePrincessKali -> RE: No this is not a rant but a genuine question. Why fake being a financial slave? (12/10/2012 11:24:44 PM)

I guess my experiences with financial slaves have been very different than yours. Because my most loyal financial slaves have tributed up front for the most part. My first one contacted me via an online modeling portfolio I had and asked if he could be a money slave and started sending me tributes and that was my intro to financial domination.

Have you ever spent any time talking with a professional Dominant? Any of them will tell you that they get their share of voyeurs, tourists, drive by's, curious folks, and flat out time wasters. Do you really think that every potential client that contacts a pro honestly follows through?

Same thing. You have to think these things through.

LadyPact had the right answer way back at the start of the thread. The OP ignored it though, responding instead to the comments she agreed with.
Learning opportunity: missed.

Are you suggesting she's not experienced enough to handle the 'tyre-kickers' (I love that terminology btw) simply because she's asked a question directed at the specific group of lying, scared, terrified, curious numbnuts on this site that she has dealt with?

I SO get why the OP is frustrated enough to post this question and it's obviously in the hopes of at least one or two of the aforementioned coming forward with an honest response. Sadly though, I don't see that happening anytime soon since what I have personally experienced is that when one has lied to you about wanting to be a financial submissive they will generally also lie about the reason they've decided not to follow through.

Just because I didn't respond to every single post doesn't mean I didn't read and process them. I didn't ask for advice on how to be a better Domme or how long other ladies build a relationship with their subs. I directed the question at the subs who go out of their way to lie or deceive, hence the "Ask a Submissive" category. I have subs that are perfectly happy with my style and I'm happy with my style so that's what matters. How would spending time with a professional DomSme answer why some subs blatantly lie?

littlewonder -> RE: No this is not a rant but a genuine question. Why fake being a financial slave? (12/11/2012 1:08:33 AM)

I always wonder when people on here post to complain about fakes or idiots or wannabes on here, do they never get lied to in real life? Do they go around complaining about how all the guys at the bar are wannabes and fakes? Do they complain about how all the the "doctors" are fake or whoever or whatevers are not real? If so, doesn't everyone just get annoyed after awhile listening to them?

And if they have no one that lies to them, I want what they're smoking.

ThePrincessKali -> RE: No this is not a rant but a genuine question. Why fake being a financial slave? (12/11/2012 1:25:09 AM)

I was asking a question, hoping for a genuine honest answer, not complaining.

I tend to agree with this, although it would seem to me that a lie in real life might have some sort of discernible motive to it, while an online lie seems a bit more nebulous and hard to pin down. Also, in real life, it's easier to look at someone's facial expressions, tone of voice, etc. Any real life business can be checked out with the BBB. I can see a doctor's diploma on the wall and verify their identity/qualifications through the AMA or state agencies.

But I'll admit that it does tend to baffle me when people invent entirely different personas for their online life. What's the point? I could never understand the motives of internet trolls, for one thing. (I outgrew the temptation to make prank phone calls by the time I was 12, so the internet equivalent of such has baffled me when done by adults.)

They may be bored or have some sort of grudge, but there seems to be something retaliatory about the behavior described in the OP.
