I agree with Butch, IF the UN decides to authorize military intervention, the US should keep our troops out of it.

Vietnam is clearly a fact, and not maybe... or do you forget that an napalm is an chemical weapon? (and even forbidden by the UN)
Also in the Iraq war the USA used napalm and phosphorus bombs.

And its very clear that Israel is using chemical weapons against the Palestinians... see phosphorus bombs.

So i think that you really need to watch the news again... clearly you have no idea of how much the US uses such weapons.
