Status: offline 		Well, if they had prior careers as QCs (I'm not sure how the American system appoints judges, but I'd imagine they come from a legal background of some sort), then they'll have done a humanity BA for their pre law, not a BSc, won't they?
(Still no excuse for spouting that sort of drivel, mind. I'm a bloody arts grad myself and even I know that's utter nonsense...)

Interestingly enough the five most common majors of students entering law school were political science, history, English, psychology, and criminal justice.[2] The five majors with the highest acceptance rates were physics, philosophy, biology, chemistry, and government service.

And judges are *usually* appointed or elected from some sort of legal background, but again, it isn't always mandated.

Sadly, this sort of ignorance from those in positions of power is a universal condition, no matter what pieces ofpaper are needed to get the job..
