It seems that Jackson and Sharpton realized that if people get along and work together for a common good as Dr King wanted their gravy train will come to an end so they cannot allow that to happen.

It is the nature of barbarians that they murder people. That is their own choice. A population of barbarians can evolve into a population of civilized beings in about five generations, and presumably even faster if they do so purposely. All that is required is to breed better humans.

Eugenics are frowned upon these days, Rule. I think that breeding programme they had to produce superior Germans back in the late '30s has rather spoiled the pitch for that one.

Who is talking about eugenics? Not me. And as for that Germena breeding programme: In my opinion and analysis ordinary people are superior to high IQ people. (Which makes sense in the evolution paradigm: if high IQ conferred a reproductive advantage, every individual in a population would have the same identical IQ.)

No they wouldn't: upbringing has as much to do with cognitive skills as genetics. Just look at Kingsley Amis' and Alan Moore's kids for a demonstration of that one.

Alright, I agree in some ways to the op's statement. In America children die every day because of guns. White or minority it does not matter, in America children are dying. And it is true, the only time this issue is raised to a national level is when something like this happens. Everyone seems to think that every gun owner belongs to the NRA, not true, some belong to the Gun Owner's Association of America, an organization that has repeatedly criticized the NRA for selling out the rights of gun owners. You look at statistics of gun deaths and all you see are numbers, big numbers. What you dont see are the numbers broke down by age, race, income level, if it was a family member, if it was a criminal, gang related what. People from other countries use the term "Gun Toting Americans" as if the majority of Americans carry firearms all the time. Assault weapons are blamed because you can put large capacity mags in them, up to and including 100 beta mags. Yeah, kids are dying by guns. Something needs to stop that trend. But no one says a damn thing about kids dieing each year until something like this happens. Those of use, gun owners and non gun owners who quietly campaign for reasonable, enforceable and comprehensive gun control laws never make the news.

Ranchers and farmers like the assault weapon to deal with destructive animals like wild hogs that travel in groups. Where I live, other than helping out a neighbor with a hog problem, I rarely use a magazine larger than five rounds, unless I am target shooting.
