I'm a gun owner who has never been particularly fond of the NRA. Too extremist.

I read it and it agrees with what I just said. They get a lot of corporate funding and are too extremist for my taste. Wtf is it with "lets see if you have the integrity to read it."

Huffington post is both liberal and pretty good on facts, they peg corp support at 15%

Now, i have no idea where they get that number but evrn if its three times that, it is still less than 50%

&And william, i didnt question your integrity.

Simply...you seem to be under the impression that folks need to jump thru the hoops you place in front of them in order to participate in the conversation.
I said most(in another thread) and I stand behind it...as per the link the pathway of the money is intricate and sub rosa intentionally....it keeps the simple minded from making the connections.
I posit that posts right here are proof positive that this tact is working

That article you linked has fuck all to do with the NRA's own financing....lol

Read it again,it is an article about campaign financing and corp.donations to political ads.

I'm really tired of having to explain simple facts to you.

The result was hardly inspired legislative thinking. The parties created a carve-out for the gun lobby
, writing a provision exempting groups from donor disclosure if they were 10-plus years old, had a million members and received less than 15 percent of their funding from corporations.

I'm hoping 75%: lower would be nice, but unlikely and 90% would be obscene.

The article, which is ANTI NRA says corp support is 15%

Which even to me seems low.

If it's that low, why does everybody bend over backwards to support them?
Is it because they're armed?

I read a Huffington report that showed corporate sponsorship at 74%. When I'm back at my computer again I'll find it and confirm, and link it.

ETA its about what I had predicted in my own mind, which was 75%.
