I view the trainwreck thread as something different than posting something on your profile. In the trainwreck thread none of us are inferring that those photos are ours or of us.

Status: offline 		Forget about copyright its far too complex an issue. What are you doing misrepresenting yourself descrite? When I asked you outright if those pictures were of you, you claimed they were. You're therefore making a deliberate attempt to mislead.

The point isn't whether or not the pic is legal-it's the blatant irony of someone using a pic that ain't them making negative comments about people who do so, to quote, "Photos are supposed to help us get an idea of what you do look like, not give us a false impression and demonstrate what you don't look like."
Yeah, that there-that's some funny shit considering the source.
Even better is the fact that still, still, he doesn't get it.

Status: offline 		Yes, I have definitely seen a profile picture that made me not want to contact the person - quite regularly, in fact. My least favorite is the on all fours, hands spreading the buttocks so wide that the anus all but offers an unobstructed view of the person's tonsils. I'm not offended by nudity, but the view is typically not very aesthetically appealing.

There are, from time to time, profile pictures that capture my interest because they are either creative or intriguing. I am often tempted to write to the person and compliment them on the photo. I don't, because it would probably be misconstrued as an interest in pursuing a hook-up or something.

Status: offline 		Good Lord....I am glad I am a boring and fade into the background newbie.....some of the pictures y'all describe would melt my laptop I agree about the giant closeups of someone's "junk." I think I can hold off on that sight until I feel compelled to see someone in person. My pic goes against one of the preferences - yes, I am kneeling. What can I say, I like that dress, and though I am not one bit ashamed of my normal, non airbrushed face......even in the most secure of secure places, once a picture is out there, it's out there, and I have kids. And yes, the dress is a size 14, and when I want to actually read the computer screen I wear glasses. Oh, and I have a zit on my chin right now too.......

I just like pictures where the person looks comfortable, normal, and happy. I mean, I get that a Dom has a very tough side, but when they look really really mad in every picture.....yikes. I mean, everyone smiles once in awhile, don't they?

O spent most of my teens and twenties stick thin because of a fat-phobic mom worrying about being "pretty enough" (what does that mean anyway???). At 44, I like who I am even if her pants are bigger. I like what someone said a few posts up about making no bones about who she is. One man might prefer twiggy, but another will like what he sees in me. And basically, if the biggest thing on his mind is not who I am but what size my tag says and whether or not my nose is exactly proportional to the rest of my face......he probably isn't my type anyway. I already have a Ken doll in storage.

I got emails from as far away as England commenting on it.
And locals likes it too.

Status: offline 		well obviously neither he nor the man who the photo belongs to seems to care so it's a null and void case as far as I'm concerned. The original photo owner's email just said it was cook and asked if the person on here was giving him credit for the books. I didn't bother to respond because it leads me to believe that the descrite and the author are the same person who simply likes to create trouble everywhere he goes or they are both just well.....nevermind...no gold letter for me today, thanks. But at least now I know before I wasted any money on reading or buying any of his books lol.
