What is up with doms blocking you for trying to figure out wether you are compatible? A local guy emailed me this morning, and we were chatting a bit. I was asking what he was looking for. I didn't want to get into a conversation about kinks or anything, but from his profile I couldn't determine if he just wanted casual or was looking for more. He said something about when he first met me walking up to me and kissing me without any conversation. I told him (nicely, I thought) that I wasn't comfortable kissing a stranger and wanted to get to know someone on a vanilla level first. He emailed back that I didn't need to get so defensive, and that no one was attacking my point of view and I didn't need to get my panties in a twist. Then he blocked me....... Anyways, obviously this is a good way to weed out people. This guy is a jerk and I really don't need to get to know him more to know that I don't want anything to do with him. But why do people fly off the handle like that just because what we are looking for is different? Can't they just say "sorry, I don't think we're compatible" and leave it at that like two adults? Or maybe I'm just expecting too much........ [sm=sigh.gif]

I've got this often enough. Weirder are the ones who block you... Then a week or so later unblock you and write as though interested again. Really quite mind-bending. ( I've only ever blocked obvious spam accounts. ) I think it's a sign of insecurity and inner conflict.

It's a hope that you'll back down, be apologetic and do something that you don't want to do. i have met people that i thought i could be friends with. i have quite a few conversations about god and the world and then we disagree on something and they block me. Immature?
