Even so, as tazzygirl points out, the moderators can do as they please without violating the TOS as such.

I thought that part was obvious; the real debate is whether things are being handled in a healthy way.

Healthy, from my perspective, being defined as what leads to a good forum and good threads.

Now that I cannot argue with, especially the bolded part.

i think i see more fin doms and people asking for tribute here now then when i first joined. but that could be just me.
i have a question. what is his multiple personality brigade i heard reference to?

It was a nightmare. A long time member got off his meds or something (I say that because he freely admitted to psychological problems) and created numerous sock accounts. 3 of them were lovely lesbians who lived together.
These three accounts wreaked havoc among the membership and a few people who saw thru the bullshit and attacked their credibility were actually banned.
There were a couple of other accounts under his control as well.

oh my goodness. what ended up happening?

I read that thread last night (someone posted) and I am glad I was gone when all that occurred. Looked like a bunch of BS.

All the accounts of Mr multiple personality were rounded up and zapped out of the system. He can't come back as far as I know.

They dont need a list. I wish you would understand that. ModOne made that quite clear in the Guideline post.

As Ive said.

And yet do adults continually break the rules? If we label the admins children, then we must also label ourselves the same way.

There are also times when people are reprimanded and even banned for using the facilities provided on the other side.

Such as?

Simple -
Make a new profile and leave it few days so it's not 'brand new'.
Browse the photos and report all the ones that blatantly break ToS with regard to uploading artwork.
It's dead easy to rack up several hundred transgressions in the space of an hour or two.
Leave it until the next day, then repeat the exercise reporting ones you hadn't reported previously.
By the time you get to the third or maybe fourth day, you'll get a gold letter to "cease and desist" your activity.
They claim they want to make the site better by reporting infringements of ToS?
Try it. You'll probably find your profile is banned and deleted - mine was, twice in succession.

you're acting obtuse again. Did you actually read that with comprehension?
The admins are not being called children. The site is starting to be run as if THE SITE is kindergarten. As the mods are in charge, that would not make them children.

Again:

It's ludicrous that words that can be used in the same context in a church, classroom or parent/teacher conference can't be used here on a 'supposedly' adult kink site.

Talk about the finer points of nailing someone's cock to a pine board to hold him still while you carve your name in his ass with a knife and prepare him to have your arm shoved up his asshole to the elbow all you want but God forbid you tell someone who can't read or write they are 'illiterate'.

Oh goody now its financial dommes and pros faults that the CM forum is in the state it is in!
Holy bat shit, I knew I was powerful..
I just didn't realize I was THAT powerful!

you misunderstand. i do not blame them. my problem is not with fin dommes and pro dommes. my problem is with those who say they don't need a tribute then want you to tribute them. i looked at your profile, you say right out that you are a pro, and mention tributes in your profile. you i do not have a problem with, you are open about it. and its not just the fault of pro and fin dommes. its just something i notice that seems to have changed.

Woohoo you don't have an issue with me!
Don't I feel special.
No offense but I don't need your approval.
Of me, my professions, or my profile. :)

You are right I blunty state that I am both a lifestyle and proswitch in profile. I also clearly state EXACTLY what I am looking for ATM. My blog spells it out even further. My signature line here also states those facts.

It's not a secret. Lol
I have been here for years under various nicks and pros and findommes have always been here. ALWAYS.

You say you aren't blaming pros and findommes yet you do IMO, when make statements such as "its not just the fault of pro and fin dommes"

Well, considering the photos are manually reviewed, depending on how many reports are put in on a specific day, that could be a lot of work. If, during the course of refreshing for mail, I run across a photo.. say a cock pic... I will report it. I dont go out of my way to search through profiles to find them.

I didnt realize that was all the same complaint. Wow.... you are speaking of hundreds of photos in a day? There are photos that are clearly TOS violations. Then there are photos, and we are speaking of art work, that are not violations. They come under free use, and are acceptable here. I have run across many of those. So for you to flood the report system with "hundreds" (your word ) of photos for multiple days in a row, without even knowing if those photos are truly copyrighted, or if they are free use photos, is abusive of the system.

Sometimes people simply are banned or profiles simply go POOF with no warning.
So to say that doesn't happen is funny.

The problem is how things are done and how the rules are enforced are not the same all the time.

Example: I have seen people be flat out rude and attacking to other's no moderation at all. Then another poster can use the same exact words on another poster and face moderation.

Once again, totally off the point and you really need to stop deliberately doing it. It doesn't paint you in a good light.
I don't mind a warning at all if I say something that I know is wrong or even something inadvertent.
A week or so ago, I posted a pic in trainwrecks with 2 ice machines and a baby carriage (Ice Ice baby).
I got a letter. Unthinkingly, I had posted a pic of a minor which is a WRITTEN rule. When I saw the letter, I apologised in writing and in the thread.
The one I referred to about starting a new thread after one on the same subject had been deleted because of drama also resulted in a gold letter and I was told it was a TOS violation. It was NOT a violation of written TOS.

I'm going to type slowly and simply with no big words.

Warnings, letters, suspensions of things that are against written TOS = Good
Warnings, letters, suspensions of things that are made up and not against written TOS = Bad

ok, more acuritely, i am blaming pros and findommes who do not state that they are pros and findommes till they demand you tribute them, then when you try to back out you're a fake.
apparently, i made some "domme list" (whatever the hell that is, i don't know, i just had a couple people tell me i was on it), and it listed me as insincere. the only time i have ever backed out on someone was when at the last minute they say "oh i need you to send me the number for an amazon card", or "wire transfer", or my personal favorite "i don't need you to tribute me, just sign up to this site, and buy a gold membership." thats when i get pissed, especially since these people have apparently had me labled as insincere. i know you don't need my approval, nor do i need yours. nor does your profession need my approval. i just wish that all findommes were as open as you about what they do here. i guess the problem is people that don't clearly state what they seek on here, whether they are findommes or not.

I never said it doesnt happen.

As far as banned,,, warnings are given first. Without knowing the posting history of someone specifically, how many times they were warned, what they were warned for..... its a judgement call.

Again, 424 times, so far, you have agreed to this form of moderation.

As for profiles disappearing, I have seen, and heard, about it many times. Chat rooms are a great place for people to come to bitch when they fuck up. After getting what was on their profiles, its usually obvious.

Say, for example, someone has a price list on their profile. Seen it many times. Thats a violation of the TOS which does not need explanation... the profile will typically be gone. Posting photos of children, depending on the context, can lead to an immediately deleting of a profile. Posting photos of beastiality can lead to an immediate closing of a profile.

All three of those are against the rules here... clearly spelled out... should not need an explanation. I have yet to run across anyone complaining about a profile being deleted without there being a clear case of why.

For instance, Chi made it clear Nietzsche's ideas on noble/ignoble moralities are only welcome in the Gorean section, which is one of the biggest "wtf?! are you dumb?"-moments in recent moderation history for me. If you're sorting which ideas go where, it's probably a good idea to have some grasp of either the concept or the categories.

You misunderstood me. I was not referring to a general discussion on Nietzsche's views but making personal attacks on posters who favor gun control and identify as slaves. Posts that mentioned Nietzsche were pulled because they quoted a post that required removal; they were fine on their own.
