ORIGINAL: LadyPact It just occurred to Me what fantastic blackmail evidence this would make should the slave ever want to turn the tables on the princess. Being able to prove to any prof that princess had handed in a paper done by somebody else would give the slave excellent leverage to get the princess right in his pocket. They still toss folks out of class for ethics violations, yes? This is more than just an "ethics" violation. If you didn't do the work, then you didn't pass the course. Then you didn't get the degree... and, no longer have a license. Are you a nurse? MD? JD? Social Worker? Speech Pathologist? Engineer? If you're in any profession that has a licensing board, code of ethics, conducts peer-reviewed empirical research, and so forth, you can lose that license for good. if you're in school when you get caught, you get kicked out of school. Good luck getting another university to take you in. If you do get back in, law school won't accept you. Neither will med school, or pretty much any other graduate level profession. When you hand in someone else's work as yours, that's misrepresentation. It's fraud. It's lying. It's cheating. It's self serving laziness. I suppose the only thing it does leave you qualified to do is run for political office. :p
